Absolutely correct observation
I AM my own worst critic! I’ve lost all confidence in myself and my abilities. I KNOW I can do a lot to help others while being creative. But I’m VERY down on myself and my abilities/capacities/capabilities since I had my stroke, lost my job, lost my career. Most days are just a struggle to survive now, feed my family, look after my own health.

Oh that’s so important
Why are we so critical about ourselves? Why can’t we just love ourselves? Why do we have hate and anger towards ourselves? #Let’s stop the hate!

I feel
This made me realize how many times I say negative things about myself. I always say I’m fat or I’m ugly. Now I know that that mindset isn’t okay and everyone is different. Whenever I’m feeling sad, just say something nice about yourself.

I learned one small step at a time
Like Jordan sparks used to say, one step at a time!🎼 My self confidence has always been lacking I now understand just how detrimental this negative habit of mine has been to my life. I know the importance of learning to love my self, but I also know the challenge I will face learning to walk this road alone. Because I’ve always depended on others to make me feel good about myself and that isn’t fair to them or I. Ready for this empowering change I’ve decided to make. 🙌🏼❤️🌼

One positive thought
I learned that just having one positive thought about yourself each day can boost your morale and self esteem. Isn’t it a pity that most of us spend our lives beating ourselves up and then wonder why we feel so sad and depressed?

One year later
I had a feeling I had listened to this teaching from Cassandra previously, and sure enough, I had. Interestingly, my greatest Aura friend Kathy, and Aura Tribe brother Walter we’re just sharing things in this very vein! While things are closer to being better than ever since my stroke and long hospitalization, personally, I’m still quite down on myself constantly. I definitely need to start giving myself a break day-to-day. It’s time for me to start treating me *much* better than I do! My tendency to be negative is still very much a part of my life daily. Perhaps when I start seriously working again I’ll feel better about my self-worth? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Happiness
I’ve been telling myself and everyone for months that you make your own happiness. No one can take it and or enhance it , without you wanting/letting it happen. This practice gave me more insight of focusing my conscious on positive thoughts. I must train my brain to be happy just as I’ve let and trained it to be so damn depressed. Happy Thursday everyone!

I am enough
This coaching session further reinforced that how we speak to ourselves is extremely important. Your mindset has a lot to do with how well you do. If you go into something with a defeated attitude then it is more likely you will not do well. I will be conscious and careful of how I speak to myself

This meditation made everything click for me.
I keep think that I’ll be happy when I get the dream job because I’ll finally have the money for the lifestyle I want. I keep watering my dream but I’m not watering the soil that will help me grow into the person who meets the requirement of that dream job/dream life.

Day 71
I find myself repeatedly listening to this one. Since last December actually. Knowing that it is ok to make a mistake, to not let it sit in your subconscious or on your conscious mind all day. That is what I keep reminding myself. Thank you for making this session ❤️ Hope everyone has a successful day (and if not. It’s okay)

Sowing Seeds
This is an interesting, but powerful Life Coaching session in which Cassandra talks about building confidence skills. When we are critical and judgmental of ourselves, we are watering our self-doubt field. Cassandra says in order to increase our self esteem and our confidence, we need to begin to plant seeds in our confidence field. I have already begun to try new things in my morning routine. First, before I get out of bed, I stretch and mentally set intentions for my day and think of a few things to be grateful for. This has been a great way to begin my day. Second, I have begun brushing my teeth with my non-dominant hand, in my case, this is my right hand. While brushing my teeth, I look in the mirror and repeat some affirmations I have memorized from listening to Nitima’s Mindful Affirmations meditation. Doing these things has made me much more mindful. After listening to this session, I will begin to sow seeds of confidence by trying to add a nice thing to say about myself while looking in the mirror. And, the next time I make a mistake, I will try to be more kind to myself instead of critical of myself. Through practice and mindfulness, I will begin sowing these seeds of confidence. Thank you, Cassandra! Namaste ❤️☮️🙏🏻😊

Positive thought
I learned that even though you may not realize or believe you are worth more than what meets the eye. There is always beauty in little and big things. Recognizing the hard to recognize everyday, little by little, grows a passion to love your self first when your day starts as soon as you wake up, in order to love others more as more as well.

Stress
I learned that I have too much built up anger that it makes me stressed out. Also by the fact that I’m a little peeved off of someone not doing what there suppose to be doing or is just too damn lazy. I can’t deal with his moodiness and excuses.

Confidence Field
We often water grass in self criticism and are hard on ourselves. We can increase our confidence by watering different grass and paying attention to different thoughts. The thoughts may feel unnatural at first but the most positive thoughts we tell ourselves, the easier it will be. Think building and encouraging.

The grass is green
I really enjoyed this session because it recognises the things don’t happen over night and that they take time! I am going to make an active goal for myself to do this every day!

SELF LOVE PROMISE
Today is a new and bright day. Today I am making a promise to myself. I promise to nurture and to cherish myself. I promise to speak only positively to myself. I promise to water the grass and sow the seeds of self confidence, self awareness, and self love. In moments where I may feel quite disappointed or embarrassed in myself, filling with doubt and guilt, I promise to make an effort to change the direction of my thoughts. I promise to take a moment, pause what I am doing, breathe, reflect, and choose to water my grass by steering my perspective and inner voice towards self love and self compassion. I promise to take time for myself each day to think about and say what I love most about myself. To look into the mirror and to admire and adore the woman looking back.

This video got me thinking about how I treat myself. I think I’m always expecting others to fill this empty whole inside of me because I feel like I can’t do it myself. And when they can’t love me the way I want to be loved I get angry at them. The reality is though no one can love me like I wish to be loved. It is up to myself to cherish myself. To love me. To treat myself like I wish others could treat me.

Exactly this !
I have recently become more aware of the thoughts I have for myself. Growing...
I have Become an uncurable Optimist over the past couple decades by watering my belief that I am. Besides telling myself how good looking I am in the mirror🤓, I recite this mantra & repeat it as often as I feel stuck or have a decision to make: I believe I am divinely guided, I believe I am always making the right choice, I believe God will make a way where there is no way! Using positive affirmations regularly & repeatedly is a sure way to improve our beliefs. I love the visual (mental) idea of watering our grass to make/keep it green. And positive books, meditations & podcasts are a great way to prepare The soil for the positive seeds you must plant. We were born to grow, so why not grow to your fullest potential?! Best of Luck to all & have fun with it!! 🍀❤️🍀

After she talked I realized I am way harsh on myself. I’m harsh to everyone. I need to learn from my mistakes and not be super critical when I or someone else makes them. The grass is always greener where it’s tended
It’s important to stop negative thinking even after it starts. I’m capable of changing the direction of my thoughts. If I’m thinking negatively or judgmentally about myself, I can stop in the middle of it and at least think something kind. I ask myself am”what would I say to the person who is speaking to my child the way that I am speaking to myself?” I would not permit it. I would protect them. And when I think of it, I deserve no less care than that I would expect for my children.

The grass is geeen where you water it…
I have been stretching myself far to thin over too many tasks, this not providing enough water to anything and my crop was failing. Everything suffers when I try to do too much. Finish one thing at a time from beginning to end. Be ok about not doing some stuff. Chop the dead wood in your life and bring your fields closer to become more manageable. Stop watering the thoughts of “you’re buggering it up” “you’re failing everyone around you” “you’re going to prove to everyone what a mistake you are” “You don’t have enough time” “you’re not ….. enough to do this thing” Start watering the thoughts of “you are more than capable, you are strong smart, resourceful and a proven achiever of anything you dedicate yourself to” “There is more than enough time for the important stuff, the other stuff doesn’t matter” “No failure, only feedback”

I need to work on this. When I look in the mirror I do think my face is beautiful. But not my body. And I talk down to myself when I don’t work hard at work. I really talk down to myself when I don’t stick to goals and tasks.

Watering the grass
So upon listening to this I thought about how I definitely have confidence issues and that brings about a ton of my anxiety. I definitely should probably work on that. I’ve thought this before but it was a good reminder not to allow myself to negative self talk.

It's okay
It's okay when I make a mistake. I have to remember that. It's not the end of the world. I need to tend to my inner self like a plant or garden. Water and feed the positive, good things. I need to look around or picture the amazing things of beauty. As soon as you said that, I looked around my place. It's so nice and clean. After putting it off, I finally vacuumed, which turned into much more. Moving furniture, cleaning the moved furniture. You see my point. I became motivated. It was a great workout also. And this morning, it's wonderful to take a moment and notice. When I procrastinate something, if I get a flash of a motivating thought in a certain way, I just say to myself, get up and just do it! Now! I tackled what became a big job. So glad I did. So, I guess the next time I make a mistake or get down on myself, I will incorporate your teachings into whatever the situation may be. I've learned so much from you. Thank you.

It’s true
I noticed that I tend to go straight to negative thoughts. I will fake it till I make it with positive personal comments

Grass
I tend a real garden into beauty. Beneath my feet, the garden that is me, not so much. I’ll use my mirror as a reminder, thank you, and tape some reminders to it.

Gentle reminders
I love these gentle reminders that get me to stop and think and ponder where my thoughts and self talk really are.

Such an important reminder.
We get so wrapped up in the day-to-day activities. Taking that moment to acknowledge our thoughts and change the negative pattern is so empowering.

Time by myself
I am finding how important it is for me to have time alone and in the winter I rarely get that going from one thing to the next.

Mindset Transformation
From this moment forward, I am focusing on transforming my mindset. I am excited for the peace and confidence that this transformation will bring. Each day I am closer to aligning with the life that I desire. I have the power within me to remain consistent. I embrace the moment when my transformed mindset because the norm and flows like a stream in my life... constantly flowing, moving around the stones and obstacles in my way, without changing who I am, but focused on keeping that constant flow. I love my life and the people in it. I open my heart to positive relationships that align with my flow. I am love and I deserve love❤️

Confidence field (watering)
Mindful self compassion works when cultivated. Practicing compassion with a growth mindset reminds us that we are a human, not an ideal.
