This is a classic story about old beliefs that keep us stuck.

Let go of old beliefs
Learned that the rope that tied my mind no longer exists! I’m FREE to succeed and love whoever and however my heart desires!

Identifying the rope
To me, the difficult part is identifying those beliefs (the rope) that is holding me back. I don’t know where to start...

Elephant’s rope
I didn’t like this story - first because in the picture of the elephant the poor thing had chains on it, secondly because the story made me think of all the animals we have taken advantage of and even abused. I know there are times when I failed to try something because I believed I couldn’t do it, but it seems unimportant compared to helping animals avoid the harm we cause. I was really happy when Ringling Brothers closed their circus until I learned they still operate outside the US.

The Elephant Rope
This story made me reflect on the many times in my life, just like the elephants, that I allowed the abusive words of my childhood hold me back from breaking free. Thank you for this story.

The Elephant Rope
This story made me think of self-fulfilling prophecies, how something that was undoable earlier in life remains so because we think of it as such. So therefore we need to always challenge our limits, never settle for the status quo. We’re always developing and growing, and so do our limits

Simple truth
This really rang true with me. I have done this my whole life. I think it’s time that the rope comes off!

The Elephant Rope
This story is so relevant to the way we measure our capabilities. Failure is the path to growth and understanding. It’s part of the journey as long as we acknowledge it as well.

stuck
believing i am stuck in my emotions; not being able to fully control them or myself throughout the waves they bring me. i am wrong. trying and failing does not mean to give up. it’s signs you need to keep working harder. one day i will get there. and you will too. thank you for this story💛
