Self-discipline is a life skill that defines our greatness. We all have self-discipline at varying degrees. In this way, it is the one thing that sets us a part from one another.
Self-discipline requires conscious decision-making and the resolve to see all of our goals and dreams realized. In resolving to see that all of our goals and dreams are realized, we assume that failure is not an option. Self-discipline not only gives us confidence and drive, but it also is a measure of our level of commitment to ourselves. Therefore, self-discipline is a way of holding ourselves accountable. Our level of commitment, desires and resilience will deepen our determination, our resolve. We should always set the bar high, but within reach to challenge ourselves to learn and Become the best version of ourselves.
After listening to this amazing life coaching wisdom session, I thought about my level of self-discipline. In regards to my level of self-discipline regarding my mental health, I made a conscious decision to change it and began meditating. Because I have seen miraculous results, I have not only continued meditating on a daily basis, but I’ve deepened my desires to learn more about meditation, including on how to Become a teacher one day. On the other hand, there are areas of my life that could use more self-discipline, such as beginning to lift arm weights, working on my photography, among a few others. Accomplishing these goals of mine will require conscious decision-making as well as determination. One thing I do know for sure is the fact that I’ll get there.
