Often, we hold tension in our bodies that we are not aware of, which makes our minds tense too; or it may be a result of tension in the mind. By deliberately softening the body, the mind can release it as well.

Very well named meditation, that she lived up to! I could feel layers of tightness start to melt away,’leaving me feel refreshed & ready for my day!! ❤️☮️🍀

Great cues and reminders to release tension in the body. When I am dealing with pain I can get frustrated and probably try too hard. I hope to remember that this only increases the tension...therefore, “soften”🙏

I’m glad I took the time for this meditation this morning. I’ve been in a highly anxious state since waking up and my body was aching all over. I have my newphew’s christening this weekend and I’m godmother and I’m starting to panic about what if I am unable to complete my duties and feel the need to run? I don’t want to ruin his day. I’ve been told that I can be godmother via proxy should I need to, which has given me some peace but I hate that my anxiety is making me worry about something that should be a non issue when there are people out there with genuine issues they are facing.

I learned that when I am anxious and tense I need to soften my body.

It was hard for me to relax, I spend so much time creating tension (heavy lifts, bjj) I need time to relax too.

It was nice to tell my tense muscles that it is okay to let go. I like this gentle way because my muscles have been tense for so long that it must be a gradual release.
