Smiling inside is an invitation to observe what happens when we make a small gesture with the mouth and discover if anything responds within the body heart & mind. Can you experience the connection within your mindfulness practice? This short practice also invites kindness through touch and warmth to the body, to support wellness and generosity. A generative practice where words can invite ease with the breath and a quiet internal dialogue. Enjoy your practice and I hope it supports you each day.

Diffusing thoughts
In my past my body has been used to betray my soul. To be able to love myself & others I am working with my body & mind to heal my soul. When I am one with my body, mind, and soul, I am able to stop the automatic physical reactions to triggers from my past. So I can stay present in loving relationships & moments.

Smiling Inside
This meditation made me realize that my face naturally rests in a half-smile and that's exactly how I like it. When I'm feeling upset or anxious my face reflects that and it feels unnatural so that can add to the upset. By taking a few minutes to return to a half-smile inside and out I can regain my equilibrium and it really does feel so good. Thank you!

Smiling
I learned that smiling is the physical switch that turns on my inner light. It is the action that opens my mind and then my body to the joys that are present in my day. What a lovely reminder that I can let my light shine at any given moment!!!

Kindness
I learned that it is therapeutic to be kind to ourselves and other people and simply wishing for wellness for myself and others with each inhale and exhale of a deep breath is a simple way to practice this. It helps make mindfulness even more spiritual.

Smile Inside
Even when I feel sad, I learned that I must smile inside, speak words to myself to help me to press on. This act will change my current mood, so I will do this throughout the day.

Smiling helps my mood
Smiling from the inside increases happiness and you actually feel joy inside you're body. Saying kind words to yourself also helps to increase happiness. Just making a smile can put you in a good mood.

Smiling inside
Smiling made my heart feel warm and happy😊 although the edges of my smile were quivering. It is much easier for me to smile at someone else than it is to smile at myself...good lesson. I like affirmations when I am practicing breath work. 🙏🏻

Good
This was a nice meditation. I especially like focusing on wishing others well as I don't feel like I'm doing that enough lately.

The past two days I have felt extremely emotional and sad for no apparent reason. This meditation reminded me that it is important to take time to smile throughout the day, wishing happiness and wellness on yourself and others, and to smile within your heart.

Forced happiness.
Making free smile, even though I was having feeling of anxiousness, actually caused my body to produce that feeling of happiness.

WOW. A few seconds after i made that half smile, an overwhelming sensation flooded my chest & heart & i felt happy inside. For the first time in a long time. Then she said you might feel that sensation & i got chills. Then after i placed my hand on my heart my stomach i felt like i was okay & comfortable with myself for the first time in my life. & now even tho my life is in a tough spot right now, Im smiling inside 😊

I don’t know how to smile. The Half smile felt awkward, I wasn’t sure how too do it. My face felt unpleasant trying to do the exercise .

🙏🏻 Smiling Inside 🙏🏻
Listening to Lisa Pollard’s tracks are an inspiring way to begin each day! I learned that today is a new day and it brings with it a new set of opportunities for me to act on. I am attentive to the opportunities and I seize them as they arise. I have full confidence in myself and my abilities. I can do all things that I commit myself to. No obstacle is too big or too difficult for me to handle because what lies inside me is greater than what lies ahead of me. I am committed to improving myself and I am getting better daily. I am not held back by regret or mistakes from the past. I am moving forward daily. Absolutely nothing is impossible for me.
