This short guided mindfulness recording is to support you to pause and remember to breathe, being aware of wherever the sensations of breathing are most vivid or obvious to you. inviting your body and your breath to be your home base. Remembering to be here now and simply breathe in and out. This practice can be helpful in the moments when you may feel strong emotions or be triggered. It can be helpful to pause relax and open to what is here right now. I hope your practice nourishes you today and you can be awake and aware. Thank- you for your commitment to your ongoing practice today.

Best Triggering solution.
I learnt that once triggered by any reason. For any cause. Your loosing to your enemy. Because if you are triggered then your enemy has won. Submit your anger to reasoning. And be neutral to the situation and your enemy will be the one to get triggered. because he didn’t succeed in pushing your trigger. And that alone shows and means that you have complete self control.

Perfect timing!
This lesson came to me seconds after losing it on two of my children bc as I was trying to just have a moment of private time in a place we all deserve..I won't say. They both barge in! It is as if they think I am not human that I am their puppet. Daddy gets that time. Why don't I deserve it? I'm so frustrated and feel like a punching bag. I am at the end of a slippery slope!!

Dat two
Strange to think that I've always considered that I was aware of my self and my body's needs... Yet two days into this I realize how little time I spent aware of my own needs.

Nice affirmations regarding use of Aura
I thought I would feel odd using Aura and developing a practice of mindfulness. It's not really "me" but here I am, a couple of months in, and still enjoying my Aura time each morning. I THINK it's helping me control my stress better, and helping to keep my raging blood pressure down! I've made some good acquaintances through the app too, so that's nice!🤗

Stop
I haven’t been very mindful lately, and yesterday my mind was caught up in to-do’s and should-have’s. This was a timely meditation and today I’m going to practice noticing when I get all worked up so I can stop and take a breathe.

I️ feel very disgusted in myself. I️ want to eat all the food at thanksgiving dinner but I️ also don’t. I’ve already gouged myself today at my grandparents. Who knew I️ had so little self control?

Holidays
The holidays are triggers for anxiety for me. This practice helps bring me back to the very moment at hand. No need to ponder all those what ifs that haven't happened and may never happen. The here and now is all there is.

Stress and Working under the Gun
When writing, I get these waves of insurmountable pressure that feel debilitating. A voice that’s yelling and telling me to give up. I forget the task at hand, I forget my capabilities, I forget how to write a basic sentence. This meditation session allowed me to breath and allowed that voice to die down. I am working under limited time to get a lot of writing done. If I keep at it, it will get done. It will get done. It will get done. If I’m kind to myself and allow myself to not write everything perfect and remember to breathe... it will get done.

Remember to Breathe
Stop, breathe, and be open to what is available to me here and now. Great advice. It’s a big world out there, with plenty to be open to. This practice allows me to use the trigger as a positive catalyst to understand what IS available to me, to move past all the triggered emotions and thoughts, and instead gain new strength, perspective, and hopefully wisdom to carry on better than before. I learned that even if your mind wanders during meditation, that is okay. Today I was feeling anxious and couldn’t focus completely on the meditation. What helped me was just the repetition of the deeper breaths, even if my mind wasn’t fully focused on that. Hoping to keep getting better at meditating in the new year!

Remember to Breathe
This is a simple exercise to return to center and reduce stress that builds up at anytime, anywhere throughout the day. This would be helpful for mini mental breaks at work.

Presence
Taking time with for myself to pay attention to the subtle in and out flow of breath, aligns my body and mind. Time seems to slow down, and as I return to my usual tasks I am in the moment . There is a vastness in this expansive now and I am living in it!

Remember to breathe
Learning to become aware of my breath and how I can use it to calm myself, refocus and relieve pain...if only temporarily, has been the ongoing reason for my mindfulness practice.

Take a breath during moments of anger
If I can quickly breath and even close me eyes to focus on that breath then I can not react poorly.

Let go let learn
Just how much I love the calming feelings I get whenever I take the time to do my mindfulness practice.. I can’t help but think of the well known instance where when done consistently; the effect of ringing a bell before feeding a dog will eventually cause the dog to salivate at the very sound of the bell. So I am only a little shocked at the feeling of calmness I noticed right at the start of the practice( you know the sort little “aura”introduction to every meditation?!?! 😌

Reduce stress by breathing
This is very helpful. Especially to those who work retail, or any hard job. Customers can be trying and can ruin your day; but if you remember to take it easy and breathe, it’ll be okay in the end.

Remember to breath
As I embarked on this journey of “ self help” many years ago , I was taught to use a technique called S .R. B an acronym for stop .. refocus... breath. It really helped me and this is a perfect reminder . Thank you .

Keeping up
I have not been following through with my daily meditations. One of the reasons I need it is the reason I have skipped it - work. Still causing me so much anxiety. Feeling I never am giving-doing enough and will be fired. Thought I let this go a long time ago

Self care
This meditation made me feel very confident in myself that I was making the right decision in practicing meditation to find more self care within myself. It made me realize that it is really important and this is such a careful and lovely way to work on it everyday so that it gets stronger and hopefully someday it will be there at all times and that my breath will be there to hold its hand and my hand.

Recordar

Be present

My thoughts are racing and I can’t get a hold of them even with the breathing exercise.
I learned that I have difficulty controlling my thoughts and I should be in the present .

Stretch
I tried this meditation while stretching because I find even small movements during my meditation help me be fully present vs. just sitting. Since it was the first time, it was challenging to get the two to mesh but I was much more aware of my breathing during my stretches and with practice I think it will be a great practice. . I think I will be adding meditation to my stretching :)

Slow Down
I learned that taking even just 1 deep breath in the heat of the moment can snap my head and heart right back on track to a calm and collected state. I tend to be vapid with my words when I feel backed into a corner or like I'm being teamed up on. Just breathe; then react.

Remembering to breathe
Like she mentioned, I definitely have those triggers where I can feel myself start to become overwhelmed with emotion. It can come in waves. It’s not about ignoring those moments or trying to avoid them all together, but more about handling them with care and remembering to stop and rely on your natural breath and self care practice to restore you.

Day one: returning to the center
Breathing. In. Out. In. Out. A constant and unconscious thing our body does. Doing it on my own while feeling in course through my lungs makes it feel as if I know my body. Like I’m in control of the things around me. Feeling better but not best. Starting this journey was the first step needed though.

Quiet moment
We each have a sacred space within us, that is ours alone. When we allow the outside world to get to us enough that you can feel that stress about to overflow, that is when we need to take a quiet moment to center ourselves and allow yourself time to tap into that calm, sacred space. Breathe and be aware. Life is made of moments, it’s up to us to make them as amazing as possible. 💕

Return to the Breath
Do not allow yourself to get swept up and carried away by emotions. Stop and remember to breathe. I find that in stressful times, I hold my breath and that never helps. Time to gently breathe.

Breathing...
Woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning... tired, grumpy & not at all feeling like myself. Went into my meditation to hopefully get back on track. While I like Lisa’s voice it was so whispery at times it was hard to hear. Perfect ... another reason to be angry. 3 years ago Before taking up my meditation practice, I would never acknowledge my negative feelings. I did not have many and always believed when you face the sun, you see no shadows. I was an incurable optimist, so I just let anything negative go without feeling it. Why would I want to feel bad?!? I do not think I was even suppressing them, just naively unaware of them and thus they never got attention, were never fed and never grew. No focus, no Energy. But since I have been meditating and hearing we should “feel” All our feelings, I have noticed more and more times of feeling angry and trying to “feel it” makes me more angry and finding more reasons to be angry?!? I am new to all the negative feelings I feel now and am sorry I ever took the advice to feel All my feelings. I never woke up before and felt the way I did this a.m. I used to never feel stressed or anxious but now know what those word means...?!? Open to thoughts, feedback, suggestions?!? 🙏🏼🤨🍀

I learned that if I can mentally remove myself from reality for just a few minutes, I will be less stressed during the day. During this practice I completely forgot about all of my current dilemmas and transported myself to a place of pure tranquility.
