Finding ways to experience joy is so important as you move through this life. In this meditation, I guide you through a meditation using visualization and mantras to cultivate a feeling of joy you can hold on to.

Joy is a blissful feeling of intense happiness that arises from our heart. Majority of us only experience this amazing state of being during big celebratory events, such as births, graduations, birthdays, holidays or when our team wins the big game. Then we seemingly go back to our lives, busy doing preparations for the next big event coming in our life. This is fine and well, but there are so many moments in between those events where we can experience joy that we aren’t taking advantage of. To experience more joy in our life, we must first get into this peak state of being. This is done through reliving a time in which we felt joy. Witnessing ourselves in this blissful state, we take note of our surroundings, utilizing all of our senses. I found a smile on my face and warmth in my heart reliving such a wonderful time. To keep me feeling in this excited state, I visualized myself basking in the sunlight of joy. With each new in breath and out breath, I repeated a mantra, I Am..Full of Joy. Allowing joy to radiate throughout my entire body, I will see the good in everyone and everything. In this way, I will be basking in the sunlight of joy no matter if the sun actually shines through the clouds today or not! Namaste 🙏🏻❤️☮️
This relaxed me for the first time today. I have so much on my mind. Not sleeping well. Ugh.
