Slow Down, Feel
I appreciate this meditation so very much! Every day is such a horse race of ongoing activities! I love ❤️ this time of year and all the Holiday fun that comes along with it. However, every year before Christmas 🎄 arrives, I’m worn out and usually in bed sick. It’s such a disappointment to me! I think I may have the answer with this meditation now and will recognize the signals my body is sending in time to slow down and not over do it!! Thanks again! Happy Holidays!

Points of Contact
Focusing on these points of contact helped me direct my breath to areas of my body that needed to release tension. Preparing for the holidays requires lots of time on my feet, so sitting down felt REALLY REALLY GOOD! Namaste and Happy Thanksgiving, Lyndi and everyone.🙏🏻🦃🍽💕.

Aftermath, Friday 11-24-17
I hope EVERYONE had a nice Thanksgiving. I say Aftermath because, I am still cleaning, I am full, I am still EVERYTHING from yesterday, which is okay. There was only two people and 6 fur babies but a lot of appetizers and food and one big homemade pumpkin pie. I need to take it all in, breathe, and even though I did load after load of dishes yesterday, the cleaning will smoothly today too. Wishing good vibes to you all!

Body sensation
This has helped me realize the movements that happen in my body day and night and if I pay close attention I can feel everything that touch’s and gives my body a feeling

Anchor
Focusing on my body and my sense of touch anchors my attention, that wanderer, here and now. My conscience expands itself in the infinity of the present moment, where and when I can finally say 'I am'.

Moving Forward
This morning I already felt calm and content but this session made me feel more so. My sensations were very subtle and I see that as a good thing because, sometimes I feel pain or tension. My mind can be over active or I might feel anxiety or some other unwanted feelings and thoughts. I feel that meditating multiple times a day is the cure to a healthier state of mind. I’m moving forward to a place l’ve never been. Thanks Aura 🙏

Moving towards the future.
I learned that I can move on from these negative thoughts into the present, and be more stable. I can calm myself and direct myself into positive thinking versus negative thinking. I cannot dwell on the negatives, I must move forward.

Amazing
I became aware of how incredibly Amazing our brains must be... to be able to constantly monitor every inch of skin and inform our brain of temperature, texture, hardness, dryness, etc. and to be able to differentiate from one point of contact with our surroundings to another, from one microsecond to another, 24/7/365, over our entire body!!!! (And we have not even addressed our internal organs yet) That’s an incredible amount of information our subconscious is receiving and responding to automatically. Wow! And I think I have a lot to think about at work... ha, I am almost ashamed. But I’m not, because I am Thankful my creator saw me fit to give me a subconscious to handle all that info. I believe I show my gratitude for this gift by properly using the conscious portion of my brain to Think Great Thoughts and make the best choices I can for the Betterment of Mankind.

Relationships
Relationships can be difficult at times. Trust is important, faith in one another, and never giving up on each other is a foundation to be built.

Emptying the mind
I learned that focusing in, I mean really focusing in, on the point of contact; the pressure creating warmth between the places and it traveling throughout your body help clear the mind in an amazing way.

Reconnecting with your body
When you take the time to slow down and feel the sensations around you it helps to focus your mind and push the tension to the back of your mind.

Day one:
You should always take others feelings into perspective and not focus on the drama of life and just appreciate what it is. Don’t get side tracked on the obstacles of life but the meaning of life and what great light is shining behind you and pulling u through.

My feet tend to tingle. Not sure if that is just aging or not being able to sit crossed-legged anymore. I liked paying attention to the points of contact. It was a great way to check in with my body.

Sadness
I'm learning when I'm sad it's mostly because I've brought myself back to a painful memory. Other times I find sadness comes from thinking too far ahead and fearing the unknown. Today I realized if you want to come out of that sadness you have to live in the present moment. It's okay to reflect on the pain that gave you understanding, but do not rest there. Return to the present, that's the only way I'll thrive.

Sensation
Focusing on where my body rests against the floor, where my hands rest, the warmth and coolness of my environment... it all is so helpful to harness my attention. My thoughts drift so easily, sometimes for moments at a time before I realize it. But the solid sensations of my immediate environment help to anchor me in the present.

Points of contact
By focusing on different points of contact between my body the bed etc. I can become aware of more nuanced sensations that I might otherwise overlook. It helps to have a guided meditation to leave me.

Sitting
Sitting on a soft bed with my back against the wall, felt very comforting. An I deal position. Reminds me of good times at gym class with friends laughing and enjoying life. I feel tingling in my toes and throbbing in my wrists. My left foot is always being smashed by my right leg. It hurts. I adjust so that my left foot extends out and right foot to my inner thigh. This position is ideal.

Respirar inconscientemente

Come back
Your body is urging your mind to come back; focus on what’s going on in the now, in your surroundings. Feel every bit of yourself and understand that without one piece of your body, the rest won’t work at its fullest potential. The same goes with your mind; you can let it wonder to different possibilities, but ask it to come back, in a gentle manner. You are needed here; ground yourself.

Trying to Distract Pain
I woke up 5:30AM to stomach pain. I feel anxious, insecure because I don’t know when it will stop. I don’t want to wake my husband. I am having a hard time. I use the restroom limping to the door. I return to the bed and my husband is up. He sees I’m in distress and reminds me to eat some of my edible rice krispy treat to help with pain. I hate eating anything on an upset lingering stomachache. I eat a few crumbs while he holds my hand and I get my headphones to listen to a meditation on my iPad to distract the pain. I’m starting to release some tension in my legs and throughout my body but the pain is still gnawing. I drink some tea with CBD Water Soluble 900mg squirt while still listening mostly for the soft music instead of the narrator but her voice is calm and I like that. The meditation is over and my pain has decreased but I’m sitting here now with thoughts as my anxiety takes over where my pain left off. It’s now 6:30 and I don’t take my Neurotin until 9. I’m worried the pain will come back before then. Trying to keep myself distracted from pain is a full time job and it makes me realize I am now unable to groom which is therapy for me but is physically and mentally exhausting and needs to be done in your best state mentally and physically for the care of the animal. I feel angry with my body and mind for not letting me live peacefully.
