Filling ourselves with gratitude is a sure way to boost our happiness. Happy, we are much more likely to be productive. These reasons alone tell us why gratitude is a crucial practice for us to do every morning.
Sitting in an upright position, I felt my breath flow ever so effortlessly. Relaxed, I became grateful for waking up this morning. Doing so, I have the wonderful opportunity to do good for myself and others today. While savoring this in my heart, Jordana asked me to think of a few other things I am grateful for. I thought about the movements my body can do. I can walk. I can run if I want to. I thought about the fantastic opportunities to learn and grow. I thought about the food I have to nourish my body with. Filling my heart with gratitude, I feel so blessed.
