Greenlights
I’ve been reading the book, Greenlights by Matthew McConaughey. In it, he speaks about redlights, yellowlights and greenlights, where red represents stops where we’ve had to take detours, yellow represents cautions and green represents go or rather the gifts and opportunities we’ve been given throughout our lives. In this meditation, we are reminded of the many greenlights that we have been given in our life. It is Christmas Day! I woke up in a warm and comfortable bed. Greenlight. I was able to stretch my body and set my intentions for my day. Greenlight. I was greeted by my two orange tabby brothers, or what I like to call them, my golden boys. Greenlight. Leaving my bedroom, I was greeted by my beautiful mother’s embrace. Greenlight. I looked in the kitchen and am reminded of all the feasts that have come out of it. Greenlight. Walking through the remainder of the house, I am reminded of all the laughter that have filled these walls. Greenlight. I took a walk in the cool morning air with my mom’s dog, Buffy and was greeted by a beautiful sunrise and 15 deer. Greenlight. I heard from my brother and his family tell my mom and I “Merry Christmas” and how much they enjoyed their presents. Greenlight. I took some ‘me’ time to meditate in the morning sun and in doing so, I felt my breath and the aliveness radiating throughout my body. Greenlight. Afterwards, I saw that I had made it to my 700th straight session. Greenlight. Filled with love and light for these greenlights I’ve been given so far today, I quietly said to myself as well as to my Source, thank you! My Aura Family, Even though we have never met in person, you have given me your kindness through your encouraging and supportive words. Encouraging me to learn and grow and supporting me through some very hard times, I just want to say “Thank You” from the bottom of my heart! I love you all! Namaste and Merry Christmas to you and your family! 🙏🏻❤️🎄

Today I’m grateful for the people in my life who care for no reason. And they are many. I’m grateful that I have an immediate access to people who some have to book a meeting with. I’m grateful for the professionals who listen to me and interrogate both my life and intellectual choices. I’m grateful for the many ways my life has changed. I’m grateful for the fact that I am privileged enough to not want material things. Minimalism is a form of elitism, especially aesthetic minimalism—it say I can but I will not; it say yes but only to the best. Namaste 🙏

As a new meditator (if that’s even a word), I want to get to a point where I am less distracted. I feel that this was a good start.

Even for someone that has meditated quite a lot I found myself restless and wondering when the meditation would end. I wanted to look at a clock ticking down to the end. This will be very good for me. Love, Suki

Not so much beckoning as emanating from me, us, - a quiet unity that dishes up all good things - “fruits of the spirit” to be eaten to be touched to be cared for affirmed embraced. Gratitude has a soft beauty a pure state of calm for me. A ho. May it be so!

Most every day I say aloud or with my eyes and other senses the things, people, sounds, smells I am grateful for. It humbles me.

Taking a moment
Even a short meditation is enough to completely change your wavelength. I went into day 1 already feeling pretty good but only a few minutes later, I fell even better. 🙏🏼

Monkey mind! had me springing 4ward and backward to past and future. And also criticism and critique alot. When I could be present I focused on the FELT SENSING of gratitude and tried to let it in
