Anxiety can often leave you feeling scattered and lost. Allow this short meditation to help you find grounding when you need it most. Vanessa uses tools of breathwork and affirmations to allow you to settle into the present moment and establish a state of calm and relaxation.

Be present
I struggle it’s anxiety and a slight fear of the future. This meditation helped me to stay grounded and be fully present. I cannot change my past or future, but I can be present.

First meditation
While I’ve done mediation before I’ve never truly dedicated myself to it. The breath work is helpful as I have a tendency to hold my breath, inducing lightheaded feelings etc.

Excellent meditation
I found this meditation an excellent mix of focus and repetition to take me out of a particularly intense anxious period and settle some physiological manifestations of sustained stress. Thank you.

Anxiety
Ground myself with the sitting and roots driving and spreading into the ground through brick and concrete really helped. Staying present in the moment fixes my anxiety. Self affirmation calms me.

Give permission
I’m not giving myself permission. If I don’t worry and try to fix things who will? But worry does not solve anything and right now. We are ok.

The Future
Most of my anxiety is related to things that have not happened, but I’ve learned that no amount of anxiety can change the future we worry so much about. I want to challenge myself to be in the present

Anxiety melting away
I learned that it helps me to pray while I listen to the instructor and follow their lead. It seems God is capable of releasing our anxieties when we give it to Him. Ended the session with Om chanting (jaw and skull vibrations) to help ease even more anxiety after the instructor led video.

Words like water
I loved listening to this speaker! Her words were like water that poured gently unto my soul! They were slow enough to be absorbed yet fast enough to quicken the interest of my mind!

This was the best…!
I felt more centered and relaxed during this short meditation than I have with any other here on Aura. This one is special and I really felt it. I have high anxiety and have a very hard time relaxing. This brought me to a place of being centered and grounded. I’m almost speechless that this could happen. She has the most calm and sweetest voice and this really worked. Thank you so much! 💙🙏🏼💙

Recognition
I will try to use the tactic of identifying what my current anxiety is specifically doing to my mind and body then gently steer those activities back to a course toward my well being. Namaste
