Thoughts are just thoughts. But they are also, well, thoughts. When you realize their truth and relate to it as it is, you can become a skilled ‘thought leader’...!

Types of thoughts
I never thought of there being categories of thoughts. Examining them in this way helps to remind me to filter out the many messages in my head from myself and others. I need to take action when needed and also ignore or redirect some thoughts. I took notes on part 1 and look forward to part 2 to get some ideas on how to do this.

Destructive thoughts
I am always feeling so stressed out that it’s hard to imagine thoughts which are just simple or non-destructive. Everything I do, try or think seems to cause great stress to me. I’m struggling to prepare for a meeting this morning for the middle of the day, and as usual NOTHING seems to be going right for me! I’ve gotten distracted many times over, and my old laptop doesn’t want to cooperate when attempting to design a flyer. Everything is SO disheartening. Simple tasks are challenges to me anymore. I HATE IT! I USED to be so good at managing these simple stresses! Now? I can barely cope!

learned that thoughts that you resist, persists, learn how to be aware of my thoughts, it could help you come up with solution to turn a negative thought to a positive one. keep practicing meditation and listen to life coaching/advices

You can’t tell your brain what NOT to think about
Don’t tell yourself to stop 🛑 xyz What you resist persists. All thoughts aren’t created equal! Take a step back from thoughts... objectively observe & try to understand what KIND of thoughts you’re having vs the thoughts themselves. Neutral. Distracting. Actionable. Inspired (understand something in a whole new way - write them down!) Negative/destructive. Just because you think something doesn’t mean it’s true.

I thought it was interesting to categorize thoughts as actionable, inspiring, and destructive - compared to just blanketing them as either negative or positive.
