Being comfortable with silence is an important ingredient when developing a daily mindfulness practice. We learn to hang out in awareness and develop this natural rhythm of being with ourselves as we are and get to know what arises in our field of awareness. This practice will invite you to rest in the silence and notice what is present in the body, mind & heart. As your practice grows your ability to sit in silence will grow each time you can find the space to practice. Nature loves rhythms and even a short time being with yourself can be a real gift to your health & well-being. Enjoy your practice and I hope it continues to nourish you.

Quiet amid the hustle & bustle
I am not afraid of silence. Actually quiet time helps me recharge, reset, and rejuvenate. This was bliss. I so needed it today in this moment. It gave me permission to take time for me. Shutting my door for solitude gave me the energy to finish my day.

Silence is okay.
Taking the time out of a busy day or after a busy week it's a rewarding to gift yourself with silence and to learn to love silence.

Silence is silver
As I've aforementioned I'm on a journey and all is well...except! I'm taking a year off from working and though everything is going ahead of schedule it seems. I've already lost 22 of my 50 lbs in less than a month of which I've allotted myself 3 months to accomplish. It was easy not to work during the summer because I never work during the summer my season starts in September. Now I'm bored to death and the silence is deafening! It's really "weighing" heavy on me. Pun intended.

Reflecting
I need to start taking time out for myself and just check in. I have this mindset of the order of how I think my life should play out, but it doesn’t always happen in the manner you want it to. I should be grateful for what I have now and I know the lord will provide even more. For now I’m going to live my life without hesitation and enjoy life. I also need to work on my confidence level and set some realistic goalS

I was very busy minded
It was nice to take a breath and remember God’s promise to us “Be still and know that he is God.” Psalm 46:10b I have been so busy the last week trying not to be bored that I have forgotten to take my even 3 minutes to be with him and feel his love and presents and in this moment he brought back to me. I gave you these 2 years to be with me. Yes there is a lot to do but you need to slow down appreciate where you are and what you have and what you have accomplished in your past 30 years. Focus on today, grieve about the past, be Excited about the future, but always live with me in the present. And take your moments to breathe when they are too hard and let me carry them.

Back pain
I’m learning it’s hard for me to be comfortable and focused because of back pain and poor posture, but I’m doing daily exercises to improve it.

Wandering mind
I found it difficult to focus on one thing. It was like soon as i told my brain “silence” it began to think of a million things at once. I also found my sadness kind of flow back and forth like waves. The more i wanted to not think about the things making me sad or depressed the more prevalent the thoughts seem to get.

Sweet silence
Just being able to sit down for a couple moments in the silence, listening to nothing. Feeling nothing but your chest expand and deflate. The world still busy moving around you but at this moment in time embracing the beauty of silence

Silence
This meditation was really soothing to me. I’m often used to being alone and silent but while having someone talk me through the silence and appreciating it and taking a moment to feel and tune into the silence was nice.

Silence
I enjoy the peace and quiet so resting in silence felt great. Just being present in the here and now, noting what is going on around you but, not allowing it to interrupt your peace.

Silence and stillness
I find that I am most comfortable in this mode. I hear noises and recognize them, but they don’t interfere with my focus on stillness nor do they break the silence. It’s like a clear dome covering me that will not allow any disruption while I meditate. 🙏

Comfortable, yes
It is enlightening how comfortable the silence is for me. My body appreciated the company. Hopefully as time goes on, I will remember to spend more time in silent awareness.

Comfortable with silence
I used my practice today to find the silence, hidden within the noise and busy-ness of my surroundings, then become aware of the connection between the silence deep within me and the silence in the outside world. Namaste

Life
Trying to find silence is hard. I would find a moment but then it would be gone when I heard a tv in the back. People never stop something is always going on

Comfortable with silence
It was amazing to stop and just be in the moment and I was able to relax some muscles and free my mind of some mindless thoughts. So often I find myself reaching for some piece of technology instead of just being comfortable in silence. This was a great reminder.

Comfortable with Silence
Starting my day with a moment of silence brings peace into my soul...would be beneficial to remember to do this a couple times a day when stress creeps in.

Silence
There is noise all around. Finding a moment for absense if noise is refreshing. It felt like a rainstorm after a drought. My senses were heightened and I arrived fully breathing in the freshness of deep silence~

Shallow breathing
When we are stressed or upset our breathing becomes quick and shallow. Breathing deeply and slowly immediately calms us down mentally and physically.

Slow down
I learned that it’s good to allow my mind to stop rushing. I feel more rested and at ease when I take some time to be still and focus on a single sound or sensation.

Sitting in silence
Just sitting in silence is a bit difficult but feels really good. I hope to bring this practice to 5 min or maybe 10. I like how the silence helps to get clear.

Focus on the breath
I challenged myself to lay in the slice while only focusing on my breath. When I felt my mind wander I tried to bring it back to the breath. This was difficult but I was more successful than I thought it would be.

Protective
I am self protective. Anxious about bodily sensations. My thoughts search for defenses from others. I wonder how much of the day I am unknowingly directed by a protective agenda; can I see more broadly and with more vulnerability or openness now that I accept this part of me.

Be in the present.
I learned that there’s beauty in silence. There are answers in silence. It is in silence where we can hear our own inner voice, speaking to us from our deepest self.

Body and Mind
In the fast pace of our day to day lives we don’t take the time to care our body or take care of our minds, by not looking after ourselves we risk getting sick and feeling stuck because we aren’t in tune with our body, meditation is a focus and a release🌟

Silence is lovely
I am as big as my body. It might seem obvious, but our lives all operate between our head and our toes. Our moods, reactions, and work are all things we are able to control. Silence is a beautiful thing. It makes you recognize the control and power you do really have over yourself.

Comfortable with Silence
This practice gave me new insight. Having been divorced for the past 5 years, my dog and I spend lots of time in silence. I am quite comfortable with silence. During this practice, I realized that the difference for me is that this app has helped me quiet the mind chatter. I am now enjoying a richer silence. Thank you Aura . I am grateful.🙏

Silent
If you’re simply silent, it’s surprising what you observe. You build a vast mental library of ideas, thoughts, facts, and opinions by listening more than you speak, and know yourself much better. While it’s not necessary to convert yourself into an anti-social hermit, it is a great idea to take a little while each day to simply listen and observe.

I so enjoy the guided meditations. I still struggle to meditate on my own though. I have no issues or difficulty with silence in itself, just trying to center myself to meditate

Needs more practice :)
I learnt that I find silence very uncomfortable so it is defiantly an area I would like to work on. I realised that I always have music playing or some kind of background noise whenever I am doing things around the house and this practice helped me to realise that it would be beneficial to me to get more comfortable with the silence

Quiet is peaceful
There are times when being alone and having complete utter quiet is extremely relaxing and peaceful for me; there are times when being around too many people at once makes me feel anxious and stressed out. Not in a way am I saying you shouldn’t be around people I’m just saying that being alone isn’t always a bad thing
