Negative thoughts? This practice helps us direct attention away from thinking and enjoy comfortable sensations we may not be noticing.

Really lovely, soothing experience for my body and spirit. Thank you!😊
Focusing on comfortable sensations in different places allowed feedback to my whole body and mind that all is well.

Being present, in the moment and extroverted through all of life's pain is what I will focus on
We are all made up of energy, and sometimes our great energy comes with great emotions. I will turn my sadness into being, noticing that there is greatness all around me

Great meditation and great explained.
Thank you for your post, it made me understand the meaning and reason to the meditation. Every day i'm getting more connected to things i've never notice if meditation didn't exist, it makes me feel balanced, it changes my way as thinking as what you said Grace. Peace

Grateful
I learned to be grateful for feelings of comfortability in my body. And thinking about this just brings awareness back to self. This will be great for the rest of the day.

Reminder
I was reminded that just thinking about one sensation could help take the tension out of my thinking. That's a great tool for high stress situations like taking an exam or just generally when you feel overwhelmed.

Eliminating Reality
Best way to eliminate your mind and reality is to focus on the now and no better way than your body and bringing you the present. It allows an eternal gratitude and brings you to a full Koenig.

The more I focus on comfort, the more comfortable I become
This was a great short meditation for me. I noticed my mind and body become more comfortable as I focused on the comfort in each body part. The pain in my back even became diluted. I will try this technique when I am feeling emotionally uncomfortable as well.

Comfortable sensations
There will be uncomfortable sensations throughout my day, physically and mentally, but there is also comfort, and to remember to focus on those parts, and not letting the pain or uncomfortableness be my main focus

Comfortable in my skin.
I so need this daily reminders. I know I speak of my aches and pains often, but that's only because they exist...often!! I've lived in constant pain for 30 plus years now, and it worsens every year, but through my newly adapted lifestyle and the peace and awareness these meditation exercises give me...it's getting better every day. I need this like I need to breath, pun intended. I am so very comfortable here! Thank you so very much. Namaste 🙏🏾

Learning...
I learned that I don't need to be looking for the next thing to make me happy. I am happy now, I just have to keep reminding myself of it. When I'm thinking I really need a vacation. I think, to feel what? I can be happy and relaxed now, here, where I am.

Touch and Self-Compassion
During this session, I found self-touch to be so valuable. As the speaker directed a kind of body scan, in which she directs us to seek out comfort in our bodies, it became more and more difficult because I store tension and discomfort in my upper body, especially: forehead, behind the eyes, jaw, neck, shoulders, upper back, even my chest. I simply couldn’t find comfortable areas there. So I laid my hands on each of those parts of my body: first my belly and chest, then my shoulders, then the back of my neck and my face, my forehead. And the warmth of my hands seemed to send comfort into those areas—there was warmth, but, perhaps more important, there was love and self-compassion. I’m in a chapter in life where that kind of touch and care is largely missing from other people, but I’m gradually learning that I can be the source of my own love, nurture, care, & compassion.

Just relax
This made me realize that the cliche term "just relax" actually has some meaning. Yet this didn't explicitly say those words, instead it helped me find comfort in order to relax. Definitely the most helpful meditation I've listened to so far.

Finding comfort
The meditation helped direct your focus to different parts of the body and identifying what was comfortable in those areas. I am still working towards identifying discomfort and staying still while using the breath to refocus. I am antsy. I am in the process of retraining my mind to ignore my urge to move. Some days I am better than others. Just need to keep moving forward!

Comfortable Here
Today’s meditation would of helped me yesterday through some unnecessary stressors at work. I will find moments in the day to take time to breathe and find that comforting feeling from my feet all the way to my head. Then just sit for a few moments and breathe.

Another Facet
I love it when a meditation that has been done many times; be aware of your feet, your torso, your shoulders, etc, but it introduces a focus you haven’t thought of - such as “where are your feet comfortable!” It adds a facet to the awareness that changes it oh so subtly, and oh so powerfully. Good meditation!

Comfortable Here
Every moment of mindfulness is a moment of comfort. When we focus on our breath or one single part of our body at a time, we can really start to realize what it is that we need in order to feel how we want.

I love guided meditation
I remember always loving the last part of yoga class when the teacher would dim the lights and walk around is while we had our eyes closed, talking and moving slowly, guiding us in relaxing thoughts. It was the best. This meditation was like that.

12/30/17
I learned that not all meditations have to be intricate to be beneficial. This meditation was about noticing comfort and discomfort, and allowing our mind and breathing to focus on the comfortable positions of our body. I really liked this particular meditation because it was grounding, and of course made me feel comfortable, warm, and present. The idea of noticing the discomfort and sticking with it for a breath was also something I learned. I felt this could even be connected to discomforting thoughts or feelings. If we sit with them for just one more breath and then let it go, maybe we can find some comfort in the discomfort...just a thought!

Comfortable Here
Taking a moment to stop and listen to what our body feels, lets us know if there’s any tension or if we feel safe. Recognizing that comfortable or non-comfortable feeling can benefit us by reassuring that everything is okay, take a deep breath and move on with the day.

Comfortable
I learned to take time to notice what makes me comfortable and what doesn't. To listen to my body. And when I am not feeling comfortable it is okay to adjust when I can, and when I can not to just breathe through it and learn. This too shall pass.

Comfortable breathing
It’s kind of hard these days to reconnect because my mind is consumed with what ifs. Healing from a breakup is hard. It’s even harder when that person has moved on. I feel unwanted and alone. Although I should be grateful. The guy was no good. The pain is still there. I know that I will be ok. I’ve been having a lot of good days and settling into getting my routine back. I just feel kind of down this week. In the end, I know I dodged a bullet. I’m just trying to heal my wounds and live peacefully and happily.

Body equilibrium
The first effect of meditation is mental Equilibrium. (Spiritual equanimity takes longer.). This session was to get one’s body in the eq state; necessary for m.e. It made me think that people starting out new should get the longer AURA because 3 mins is not enough. I think it is truly worth it.

Struggles to Overcome
Low self-esteem. Neglect and isolation. High functioning depression. Bullying and manipulation. Self-injury. Suicide. All part of my struggle with existing and living. This world can be dark and dreamless for some of us. But if, when we are saddened, we turn to meditation to find our freedom from negative energies, we rejuvenate the spiritual power within every one of us and consciously block out others’ criticisms. We find ourselves, and eventually, love will find us, too. Love and happiness to all of you out there ❤️💖🙏

Tense Inward Body
Being mindful of my body is a good way to interpret stress that hasn’t touched my mind yet. It’s a good way to hone in on the positives, when it’s easier to focus on the body’s pain and shortcomings. I did struggle breathing complete breaths when focusing on my body. I don’t have a natural flowing breath. Perhaps practicing deeper breaths throughout the day will help me adopt a better cadence and relax the body further as a result.

Focus in yourself
We are constantly surrounded by negative situations; ground yourself, tune in and see/touch/feel what’s comfortable for you. See that the “now”, where we should all be, asides from all the negativity, is exactly where we are and we need to be open to everything that the now has to offer. Change your perception and turn all the negativity into a lesson that you can constantly use in your life -this phase is called growth. Remember that no one can make you uncomfortable without your consent; you get to decide how your circumstances will affect you.

Helpful

pain management
Despite a great deal of pain in my shoulder, this practice is helpful because I get in touch with the parts of my body that are comfortable. Psychologically this helps to put things in balance and I can, to an extent, switch focus.
