Finding a comfortable place to sit can be helpful, try sitting in a hard-backed upright chair where your feet reach the floor easily. This short guided meditation assists you to find a comfortable seat in an upright open posture, where there is a sense of openness and stability. I hope this practice can support you to find a posture that supports you to practice with ease and comfort. These pauses each day can be a way of checking in with the body and the breath. My shoulders
I've developed horrible posture growing up with my shoulders slouched forward because I felt safe like that. Confidence was never something I knew and my posture reflected it. This was a good reminder that good posture will help with feeling more comfortable and at ease.

A rose by any other...
I've learned... That it's wise to stop and smell the roses, even if it's actually the aroma of the cluster of fast food restaurants near my daughter's high school as I wait for dismissal. I can sit comfortably in my car and relax, reflect, replenish and rejuvenate. What a reward! Namaste.

What a perfect way to start off a new day! Right after waking up I took advantage of the morning peacefulness and started with Aura! What a rush! I love the simplicity of chair meditation. It relieves my early morning aches and pains, helps me to focus and get ready for my day and helps me to start my day feeling refreshed and grateful! Who could ask for more! Thank you!

I learned through this meditation that I am not a beginner. I wanted this app to provide me with several things... consistency in daily meditation, reduce stress and stressors in my life and provide positive thoughts to increase my personal health and well-being. Today’s meditation Chair Posture just didn’t do it.

I learned that paying closer attention to my sitting posture allows me to focus better. I noticed the tightness in my head and shoulders and felt a great relief when I released that tension. Great feeling!

Too relaxed
It takes a lot of effort to feel comfortable and awake without falling asleep. I did feel incredibly relaxed and my mind was very clear after the session. It was great!
