The centering breath is a practice to learn to center your awareness inside your body breathing. This short guided practice invites you to take a slow gentle breath and a slow gentle out breath and then coming back to natural breathing. Notice how it feels to breathe gently in this way and learning to regulate your breath as a way of inviting ease into the physical body. Breathing can be beneficial to clearing your mind. It helps to relax my body and allows my mind a chance to rid itself of anxiety as I breath. Focus on your breath and you can remain calm and collected.

For the first time I feel as if I did a breathing excercise correctly. I felt I really concentrated on my breaths and it finally worked for me and I didn't feel distracted. Yay 👏🏼

Even though I have been suffering from severe anxiety and depression a lot lately, I’ve realized that these breathing exercises and meditations are seriously helpful to combatting my depression. These meditations really do work for me in so many ways, it’s impossible to describe how I feel about it, but I really am loving it.

I've felt off kilter for the past few days, as if I'm forgetting something. I've also been frustrated with myself because while I am proud of myself (I recently got a part in q play at a local theater, my first role ever) I have felt, repeatedly, ungrateful. I know his is wrong because I should be thrilled to even have a role. I don't know how to get out of this mindset. I guess I have to continue to work on it.

I liked focusing on taking one deep breath, but also making it consciously gentle. With a lot of my “take a big breath and keep going” I realized I’m forcing the air in rather than gently welcoming a deeper breath and naturally finding room to put the extra air, like if I happily find myself with a houseful of family or friends- I gladly make sure everyone has room and is comfortable. It's definitely important to center ourselves, especially when life starts to become overwhelming. Sometimes life seems to be passing us by. We need to learn to center ourselves before we start to feel this way. We are only in control of ourselves and when we are in control of ourselves, we are more likely to have a positive perspective about the things going on around us. We may not be able to change everything we'd like to, but we can at least change ourselves and our attitudes, no matter is going on in our lives. We only live this life once, let's embrace it and live life to it's fullest 🌟! Lord, please help with every area I am struggling in right now 🙏. Blessings to you all 💙😌🌎.

It is easy enough to do, a slow, deep inhale, hold for a moment and a long slow exhale... into a calmer state. Great way to recenter any time. Simple & effective! Feels like it reorganizes some of the internal chaos into a more organized pattern. Now to bring it into our daily lives for some extra peace... Namaste ❤️☮️🍀

Simple effective breathing technique to help center ourselves throughout the day. Slowly take a deep inhale through your nose..pause for a moment...and slowly exhale through your nose. Then let your body return back to its natural breathing pattern. Great session to begin my day with.
