This short guided mindfulness practice invites the union of breath and body. Inhalation hands open and exhalation the palms gently touch each other. Connecting the breath and the movement is a way of bringing the mind into the palms of both hands. This practice can be a support for you if you have difficulty being present and your mind is often racing. A moment to pause and be with the breath and touch, breath by breath, moment by moment. The touch of the hands is an anchor for the mind and this can also regulate breathing. Thank you for your practice and I hope this short practice can have a soothing effect on the body, mind & heart.

movement & dance & flow is art. Symbiotic relationships make synchronization look easy to the public eye. Initially my arms were moving faster than my breath. It wasn't until I heard the gentle voice encourage perfect timing that I could slow my arms down to the timing of my breath. I did in the end. Say I can, I will, and I do.

Breathing hand movements in the inky depth of night. Wind pushes at our windows, rain hammers the roof. Snuggled up in bed we listen to the sounds, our hands move with our breaths, late night meditation soothes our racing minds as we drift off. Joyous greetings we delve deep into blissful sleep, our little deaths, we evolve into our subconscious selves and live impossible dreams. Escaping to imaginary landscapes, chaotic realms and sometimes revisit loved ones long gone. Breath and dream.

What you give out you will (eventually) receive
No matter how much we want things to be the way we imagine them, life often gives us completely the opposite. Why? It is a good question. I radiate love, peace, compassion, but often attract people who are damaged and can’t give me the same...I believe it is not ours to think about what is that we are getting but to be best version of ourselves, and most importantly PROTECT our good energy from negative people. Eventually you will get there where you imagine to be. Improve yourself everyday. Love yourself and show a little bit of that love to everyone around. But don’t waste it on those who take advantage of your good nature. Saying NO is sometimes the best thing. You are also a human who deserves care and love no matter how independent you are.

It wasn’t so much the breathing that I was focused on, but the “energy” that I felt as my hands separated and then when I brought them back together. It’s quite a pleasant feeling knowing that there is nothing there but still feeling something. 🙏❤️

Pulling in fresh, healing air from the infinite universe. Using the movement of my hands to focus on my breath is another simple yet powerful tool I can use when my mind is really racing for the gold medal 🥇. I had such a relaxed but hyper concentration on my breathing. Once I got my mind to stop picturing an air accordion contest 👨‍🎤, my inner stillness came on quickly. I learned that rushing around and drinking coffee and then coming into meditation doesn’t feel as compatible for meditation as meditation in the beginning of the day with tea afterward. As for this meditation, “Breathing Hands”, I enjoyed the practice. Moral of the story... hyper mediation is more difficult to relax the mind.

This exercise really did improve my focus which improve the quality of my experience and help me stay in the present moment. Focusing on moving my hands in unison with my breath created the anchor for a more centered mind. Namaste

Moving during meditation feels natural
Maybe I should do more movement based meditations. I noticed that my hands naturally moved in and out with the breath. I noticed that I felt dizzy with the deep breaths so I need to be careful to use my diaphragm.
