You are not alone in your experience of sadness. Everyone feels just like this sometimes. This is a common humanity experience. You can keep yourself company. Photo by Eye for Ebony on Unsplash
I'm not alone. I'm down right now but I have myself and those whom I love.

I am not alone
I learned that taking the time, however brief, to listen to and connect with the sadness I feel actually brought some comfort. Acknowledgment rather than denial allowed some light to shine and lighten me enough to feel connected (to myself and others). I am not alone. ๐

Expression
I learned that I need to express myself more verbally. I am glad I was able to get something off my chest with one of my friends. Although it involved me crying it was needed. How we move forward I donโt know, but at least itโs one less thing Iโm holding to. The truth hurts.

I learned that I am not alone in my sadness. Bringing awareness to being sad is an act of kindness for myself.
Breathing does help to make me feel better.
