Use this breathwork exercise to bring you more alertness & presence throughout your day. These exercises are focused on deep and rhythmic inhalations and exhalations, described as ‘controlled hyperventilation or power breathing' and are followed by a retention time, where you hold your breath for x amount of time. Tips: Sit up or lay down on your back with good quality headphones - Breathe deep, inhaling through your nose and exhaling through your mouth - Exhale; hold until you need to breathe in - Inhale again, as deep as you can, and hold it for 10 seconds squeeze your core, lift up your legs and head, flex your arms as long as you can & then relax.
