Enjoy an Attention Restoration Meditation at least every 90 minutes at work. Give your mind a self-compassion break so that you can resume work with renewed focus. Put aside the time needed to be fully with this meditation and use earphones so that you can block out noise in your environment. After enjoying the meditation, give yourself a few moments to sit and simply “be.” Nature sounds courtesy of listeningearth.com. Image by Aviceda (Own work) [CC BY-SA 3.0 (https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/3.0)], via Wikimedia Commons

That was not guided meditation. That was not at all what I needed.
Not okay, I wanted a guided meditation session and that was the last thing from a guided meditation session.

Good morning 😊
I love listening to the birds 🐦 singing 🎶 as I wake up! They weren't awake and singing as early as I got up today so this was rather neat :-) although I wish it would have last longer 😉 have a wonderful day everyone 💕

7th Day of Bettering Myself for Myself
Something as simple as the sounds of gave me the most wonderful feeling. It is the first time in weeks I have felt warmth coming from within myself. I am aware that this happiness is momentary, just as every state of emotion is, and I am working towards being okay when I move to my next conscious state.

Peaceful Birds
Today I had a hard time focusing and not letting my mind wonder on what I needed to do today. I do love the sounds of chirping birds and nature.

I learned why I plant flowers and trees that help the birds thrive. Their songs are my songs.

Snow Day 11-8-17
First, I like how we cannot really choose our meditations, but I saved this meditation for those who like a little nature. I certainly wasn’t expecting it, but it was a nice pace since there is snow on the ground. It brought calmness, I can felt like I was walking on a guided path or sitting on a rock, one with nature. Thank you Aura! Have a good day, Everyone!

Nature Heals
Amidst the bustling city life, we must find our own space and time to hear the birds, to hear the wind—that is peace.

Prefer spoken word
Didn’t care for just hearing nature sounds. But, in a good place today already, so all good.

Sound of nature
Sometimes it’s easier to relax to the sounds of nature and really appreciate the sounds when I separate sound from the other senses and the other elements of nature- no weather, no bugs. I feel honored to be able to spend a few minutes and really listen to the language of the birds. Namaste

True nature

Nature sounds
Hearing the birds was extremely relaxing and comforting. Right now it is extremely cold and the ground is covered in snow. This reminded me of spring days and the freedom to go outside and enjoy the sounds.

Day 6 January 6
I personally did not enjoy today’s session. All of the chirping made me feel like my mind was going a million miles an hour and I could not focus or unfocus on anything. Could be my own personal mind and the day I was having (doing this meditation before bed) but I felt just as anxious as I did before I started the session

Listening to nature
Letting myself be still for even a few minutes is hard in the morning. Often times, being still doesn’t feel productive and if I wanted to practice meditation, I feel obligated to work on my breath or something that makes it “productive.” But this was never about productivity. It’s about choosing to take care of myself, a few minutes at a time, multiple times a day. It’s about feeling my emotions, not bottling or numbing them until I explode. Meditation isn’t a race, nor is it something to perfect. It’s about honoring and observing the ever-changing relationship I have with myself and God.

I’d like to travel somewhere tropical. I see myself in a forest surrounded by nature’s beauty, sounds and majesty. I’d like to be present in that moment and truly appreciate it.

Nothing
I didn’t learn anything, I don’t understand any of this. I’m also not sure what to write, I’ve been told to write more, but what else is there to right when you don’t understand any of this?

Unease
I was lying alone. Blue sky above, beautiful green forest all around. But to my left, just over my shoulder, there loomed a terrifying black bear. All torn up and growling. It came right at me. I barley managed to finish, and not without being terrified in the process

Happy memories
This meditation reminded me of family trips to the Zoo and hiking. I imagined what it would feel like going to a real forest with loved ones. I felt like I was on the same path of a nearby trail that traveled along forests and my neighborhood. It was soothing and relaxing!!!

Home
I grew up in the country and these meditations always take me back to sitting on my bed with the window open in the summer time. I could hear the frogs peeping and the birds chirping. It is truly the sound of happiness for me ❤️

Surprisingly hard to stay mindful
I found myself drifting off to thoughts of when I was younger and the awesome amount of time I got to spend in nature. Then, I realized how much I miss it. I tried acknowledging the thoughts and going back to mindfulness, but I found myself fading off into past memories in nature. That’s okay though. I’m still a work in progress though.

Attention restoration
I learned how challenging it is for me personally to focus on Nature Sounds without thinking about them. I made it my goal just simply focus on the sounds, but that was hard as I kept wondering but what birds were making the end of it all sounds. I guess aura created these attention restoration meditations said that we do users cannot be better where I want to remind you were doing seems like a very helpful idea. Also since the app recommends an intelligent restoration notation every 90 minutes yes reinforced that I should take breaks more often than I do so I guess I also learned that from this meditationI will keep this in mind as I go through my day. Enjoy your days everyone
