Enjoy an Attention Restoration Meditation at least every 90 minutes at work. Give your mind a self-compassion break so that you can resume work with renewed focus. Put aside the time needed to be fully with this meditation and use earphones so that you can block out noise in your environment. After enjoying the meditation, give yourself a few moments to sit and simply “be.” Nature sounds courtesy of listeningearth.com. Bird song
I love anything with sounds of nature. I found myself fascinated by all the different birds I heard. Not sure where on earth this location is but it was cool. Would love to actually be in that location to hear them in person.

This really helped me apply techniques that I’ve learned so far and listening to specific noises from nature allowed me to sort of zone out and focus on Breathing.

What a morning
I suffer BPD while living with people who just don’t get it and these people are my family.. I don’t know who to turn to as outside this house I honestly have no friends or family. I’m the black sheep and the only person I had has passed and I really do feel alone. The only time I do get some relief is when I’m mediating so thank you Aura

Sounds of Nature is a parallel to Inner Body
Listening to nature called me to know more how to pause and breathe in love of all things nature and exhale all things not of love. That’s what I saw as I was listening for three minutes. Love this app thank you for being here for people like me.

Birds trigger my anxiety for some reason
This meditation might be good for other people but bird noises make me irritated, so I kinda got a little anxious. But that’s just me, pretty sure people who don’t have that problem will enjoy this one.

What I learned today..
I learned that it’s important to have a peace of mind. I also learned that it’s important to let go of the past and forgive and forget.

Soothing sounds
I practiced counting breaths with this and found the sound accompaniment a delightful focus, and a respite from the blustery winter outside.

Miracle Monday 1-8-18
This was a really nice meditation to reflect and decompress to. Last night and this morning has been a little difficult for me. I put my uncle on the train, however his train was 7hrs delayed and it takes 3hrs to get to the train station and my uncle became very difficult to handle. He was mean, started to get loud and drunk and out of line. Then my friend who drove became upset and got out of line and I got so frustrated. We end d up getting a room and driving back at in the dark this morning just so my friend could go to work. It’s done, it’s over, It’s bittersweet. I’m sad, but I’m still upset. Then I get home and see he left some stuff. Grrr! I can rest now. I still am so sick. Thank you, Aura! Have a nice day, Everyone!

Never give up
When I am clear and focused I’m able to remember that I’m strong and can do anything. I have to remember this through stressful haze sometimes. Meditation helps me re-center and lower my stress

So soothing
I am incredibly responsive to the soothing tones of layered bird voices and at the same time my listening is more focused and alert. Altogether my brain waves slow and the internal chatter subsides. 🙏

Listening...
I was patiently waiting for her to say something ... and then just started listening to all the different birds. I could hear layers of them in like multi-dimensional Rhythms. Next thing I know here comes the piano tune.!? Guess that’s what I learned - living in the now just requires us to pay attention to what is happening, right now (without thinking or analyzing or expecting) !!

Transported
I was transported to a forest, I was curled on the floor as time progressed I grew, tangled hair grew into branches, nesting there were the birds. Skittering from branch to branch, greeting a new day, the sang to me and the world. Welcome the said welcome to a new day, new choices, new life.

Taking nature for granted
Good nature sounds meditation yesterday, then I also got close to some wild geese while walking in the morning and noontime yesterday that I appreciated, then already with today’s 2nd nature sounds practice In a row I was already catching myself taking Nature for granted and following my wandering mind. How easy it is to take the wonder and beauty we have around us for granted. My intention for my progress is I to keep my awe fresh. 🙏

Nature soothes
Being in, and listening to nature, is like a reset button for your mind. When you’re running on empty from all the stresses of everyday life, nature is the only fuel you can truly fill up on. It forces you to refocus your attention and realize how truly amazing this life really is. Nothing is better and bringing it into focus that it’s time to slow your roll. 😉

Bird sound like a vibrating bird
One of the bird calls was at the same frequency and sound as a vibrating phone. The first time I heard it I thought I hadn't turned off an alarm or someone was calling me. The second time I realised it was the bird. So I struggled to let go and be. I allowed myself to be distracted. I like bird song but not sure I'll listen to this one again.

I loved this meditation! I loved the simplicity of just listening, no directions, except to simply be! It was wonderful, relaxing, peaceful and energizing. It took me back to earlier times when I would begin my morning quietly sitting on my deck and listening to nature. The only downside to this meditation is that now I cannot wait until warmer weather so I can begin and end my day sitting outside and listening. Thank you for this!

Connection to nature
I loved this meditation. The simplicity of soothing nature sounds not only calmed my mind, but reminded me that we are so connected on this earth and all serve a purpose. Each and every bird, frog, monkey, and fish in nature serves its purpose. Even given their differences in sounds, looks, and movement- each is here just as it was intended to be. Much like each of us are here uniquely, serving our purpose through existence and love to add to the beautiful collection of the world. Thank you 🙏🏻

So much life
It was nice to reflect on nature. The realization that there all these lives being experienced. Humans, birds, monkeys, fish, bugs, all the way down to the smallest organisms, all living. I cant wait to take my family outside to hear these sounds that represent a life. It’s been a long winter. Time to get outdoors!

Nature Break
I found that an unguided meditation is challenging for me as I am still working on keeping my mind focused. I was constantly having to bring myself back to simply listening as my mind jumped from to-do lists, grocery shopping, how to meditate, the movie I saw over the weekend and more! I have realized that for now I need to use guided meditations to help me focus. However, the sounds were wonderful and relaxing.

Nature Sounds

Letting my mind wander
I learned that sometimes it’s OK to just let my mind play with visualizations to create settings for the “soundscape “ provided. The only time that I exerted any control was when my mind wanted to move outside of the soundscape. Even though I never decided on the perfect setting, I still was calmer, happier, and more relaxed afterwards. Yum 😋

Pre-dawn
A great few minutes, to just be still and listen to nature (and pet the cat- she also enjoyed all the birds chirping!). I’d like to suggest a similar practice, listening to a crackling campfire. Namaste

Dreamy...
I found myself looking at a foggy, mist covered pond like thing at dawn. Could not see very well, but could hear all these birds calling. I shut my eyes to listen to their various songs and as I opened my eyes, the sun peaked over the horizon and the fog became an bright orange iridescence glow with birds darting across & through it. Made me think I was looking at an intensely close up view of an atom with the birds acing like electrons circling around the nucleus... could not really see them in detail, just fleeting glimpses. Very surreal but soothing! ❤️⚛️🍀

Soothing
The sounds of nature are calming and peaceful. During this session I visualized myself sitting outside in my backyard on a Spring morning enjoying a cup of coffee. I am listening to the birds, feeling the warm sun on my skin, and breathing in the fresh air. Peaceful way to begin the day.

Not my style but it may be for others
When I realized this would be an unguided meditation, I preconceived that this meditation would be useless, that I would open my eyes and feel just as tired as I did before. However, I slowly relaxed into this new style of meditation. Although I didn’t enjoy this meditation as much as guided ones, others who enjoy minimal guidance would.

Full of health. Nothing to fear. God is in control. He guided me. Closed my eyes and made me walk without site. He wants me to surrender fully to his will. As I did, I felt tremendous peace. This is what I dreamed of. Or imagined. But better. Because he’s amazing beyond understanding.

Birds transforrming mind-chatter
The mind-chatter diffuses into hearing the bird chatter. I am free of the whack-a-mole sort of suppression of thoughts for a bit. I especially appreciate minutes of absence of human made music which gets redundant. Please keep letting bird song stand on its own!
