Sometimes life gives us a difficult blow, and we ask, "Why is this happening to me?" It's so tempting to wallow in the 'why', but maybe it's the wrong question. If asking why is this happening hasn't given you hope, then try asking the what question. This session is about thought management and mature perspective and will give you the gift of looking at your situation in a new way so that you can park your mind there and move forward with hope and strength.

New Perspective
I love being reminded of new ways to view any situation and this helps us focus on ways to solve the problem not dwell on the problem.

Bone crushing sorrow
Tonight I couldn't sleep because the grief of being separated from my daughter crept into my dreams. I kept trying to find a way to answer the question why me? Why us? All i could think about is the harm that this happening. This mediation says I need to reframe the question to what. This was done so I could see the good. Right now the pain is to great for me to answer these questions. All I want is for the nightmare to end. I want to see my daughter more than words can describe.

Asking What?
Asking What? helps reprogram your mind when dealing with life's challenges. I like this approach a lot because asking why?doesn't help at all. Thank you!

I was a little distracted ๐Ÿ˜ฏ
I guess I just need a little more practice with mindfulness, my mind was constantly distracted and I wasn't able to stay focused on anything at all.

The End of a Cycle
Today I ended an endurance event that I have to give up possibly permanently because of a medical problem. I learned that today is not necessarily the end of something but an opportunity to find another different challenge in my life.

What not why
Not to ask why. Ask myself what. Understand that things happen for a reason and to prepare us for other things. What will I do now that I'm in this situation not why did this happen to me

WHAT
What have I learnt from the situation I am in? What am I going to do with this reality? What is the next step for me from here... Focus on the WHAT not the WHY
