Weathering Storms
In days when I get caught up in the whirlwind of tumultuous emotions of anger, frustration, grief, confusion, like in this meditation, I place myself in the midst of a body of water, say a lake. In stormy weather, I face rough waters and thus sense the need to anchor myself to regain my bearings. Nature is the teacher, as all storms must pass, and the lake comes back to its placid self. The anchor comprises acceptance, compassion and release. Only then will I find peace. โ˜ฎ๏ธ๐Ÿ’•โš“๏ธ

Weathering Storms
I feel caught up in a storm right now, but I now feel anchored and calm in the storm and can let it pass over me without try to outrun it. I breathe in forgiveness and compassion for myself and exhale hurt and past grievances.

I like the phrase - "... you can weather any storm. " It's both encouragement and reminder of our inner strength

Ready for whatโ€™s next and very relaxed. I wanted my son to do this meditation since he didnโ€™t I listened to it with my daughter. We both felt relaxed and calm.

It was a nice reminder that I have indeed survived storms in the past, therefore I can survive my current and/or future storms.

Breathing
I breathe too shallow and need to be mindful of this. Deeper breathing calms me down

Radical acceptance combined with self compassion and self-nurturing is a powerful combination. I am reminded where my supports lie and what my anchor is.

The Storm
I loved this. I know how to anchor myself when it feels like I'm in a storm. Inside. I enjoyed your soft, kind voice. The piano was really nice also. Your words of encouragement made me feel much better. Like I have a safe place to go when inside everything is topsy-turvy. Thank you for teaching me what to do. To give myself some compassion. To recognize the feelings and let them flow. This was perfect. โค๏ธ
