Enjoy an Attention Restoration Meditation at least every 90 minutes at work. Give your mind a self-compassion break so that you can resume work with renewed focus. Put aside the time needed to be fully with this meditation and use earphones so that you can block out noise in your environment. After enjoying the meditation, give yourself a few moments to sit and simply “be.” Nature sounds and image courtesy of listeningearth.com.

Alone and safe
I felt a very strong sense of oneness and peace. I wanted to reach out and touch the stream but didn't want to disturb the flow of water. Complete sense of wellbeing and compassion for myself. Thank you. ❤️

Water
This was the best so far. I was near a brook listening to the birds and water over the pebbles. I looked for the smoothest rock towards the end. Water washing over rocks makes them smooth. The smoothest One has been in the water a long time. I feel like a jagged rock even though I have been in the brook a very long time. I learned I need to give in and let go. Definitely recommend this short refreshing and uplifting.

Always a nice sound
I would say that it would be good if you are in a meditating mood but it didn't focus my mind away from other thoughts the way that other meditations do.

Memories 10-16-17
This mediation brought back memories when I was a young adult and my parent had a babbling brook in their back. During this meditation, I could visualize myself on a rock or somewhere comfortable writing my poetry while listening to the beautiful sounds of Mother Nature.

Relax
It feels great just to be able to tune everything out and listen to the different sounds of nature. I was able to just key my mind wonder and not worry

Water over pebbles.
I am a Pisces and love the water. But I had a hard time focusing because I waited for that calming voice.

Friendly reminder
I felt like I was sitting in the Como Park Conservatory in my home town of St Paul, MN. This place is a haven for me - especially in the winter and on cold days like today. Thanks!

Prefer guided meditstions
While the sound of running water over pebbles WAS nice, I still MUCH prefer the voice guided Aura sessions. This running water one just put me in mind if needing to pee!🤣

First Nature Sounds Meditation
This was interesting. It passed seemingly very quickly, and was a nice palate cleanser as I prepared for bed, but I had a hard time stilling my thoughts and not using it merely as background noise to think over.

Water over pebbles
Loved it. So nice to be reminded of spring and my many walks and hikes in the park. It brought back the memory of our stay at Custer State Park in spring especially. I can’t wait for spring!

I learned that sometimes it is okay to stop and slow things down. I need to take some time for myself where I’m not worried about anything other than my mindfulness

I learnt that being in my head alone while meditating is hard. All these thoughts pop up that I try to let flow away like the river. It’s almost as if my brain rejects the silence. It doesn’t want me to be alone for to long, why I’m not quite sure. I hope in time this can change and it starts to crave the silence.

I was surprised at all the different thoughts my mind wandered to, but each time I was able to recognize it and draw myself back to the present by gently re-focusing on the water sound. Namaste

Water over pebbles
I was there in the forest near the creek. Those birds were so entertaining! I could smell pine. And I touched the rough pine bark. A very friendly and comfortable place for me.

Pebbles and Bam Bam
So the other day I get this notice from the post office they tried to deliver a package which required a signature curious, I wait in line to see who sent it and what’s inside the ponytailed postal worker, who was wearing light blue rubber gloves (the kind the airport security people wear), returned with a little manila envelope marked “fragile” I sign and he hands it over it’s light as a feather my name and address are hand written the return address is someplace in oregon from a lady I don’t know when I get home I place it on the my coffee table “delayed gratification” I think to myself as I run through the list of possible senders I google the woman’s name on the upper left corner of the envelope she is an artist who makes hand made jewelry from natural materials “Boobus” I think to myself (she always is so thoughtful and has a knack for finding unique things). And sure enough when I open it there is a little plastic box with a clear lid containing a beautiful guitar pick shaped exquisitely of some multicolored colored mineral I pick up my guitar and strum the tone is wonderfully bright the pick is an absolute treasure When we were young she and I were known only to each other as “Boobus and Load” It was sort of our own version of “Pebbles and Bam Bam” And after all these years we still use those names...

Sounds without words
Sounds without words are always better, because it feels nonjudgmental, peaceful, and less pressuring. It's like in a way letting actions speak instead of words. I believe every meditation program should be like this.

I’m at work. My least favorite place but this meditation temporarily took me out of my funk. Regardless of my environment I can mentally achieve a calm, happy serene space even if I’m physically not in one.

Just What I Needed
The sounds of birdsong in addition to the sounds of water rushing over pebbles allowed me to visualize the ripples in the stream and feel the coolness of the forest. Very relaxing and centering.

Barefoot in the stream...
I imagined I was standing barefoot in the middle of a small stream, there was both sand and soft round pebbles massaging my feet and taking the pain away. My feet started to tingle as the pain started to subside and the cold water rushing over my feet was so refreshing. I just closed my eyes and visualized this place and it helped me escape the unpleasant thoughts of experiences I’ve had these last two days. Namaste

Nature Heals
Listening to this meditation in a totally relaxed state was so comforting and inviting. Being out in nature or listening to nature sounds, relaxes me...body, mind, and soul. In this relaxed state, thoughts and feelings popped up for me to notice and once noticed they washed away. Water over pebbles was a lovely experience for me and relaxing after the Christmas holiday. It felt good.

Refocusing my energy
This morning I got caught up in the busyness of my to do list before heading into work that I needed a little time out to refocus my energy. During this meditation I visualized myself sitting on a rock by the creek just listening to the water flow over the rocks. It is very relaxing. I will revisit this meditation.

Reflection on Wayer Over Pebbles
A very soothing and relaxing soundtrack that did an excellent job of soothing my frayed ends at work. I would have liked a few sparingly placed meditation reminders, eg “allow your thoughts to flow away from you as you focus on the sound of the water, you can pick them up when you finish” or something like that as I found my thoughts would begin to wander every so often. I was pleased with the sound though and will listen to it often, I think.
