This is a relaxation breathing exercise meant to stimulate the vagus nerve and the parasympathetic nervous system, to help you feel more calm, relaxed, and centered. This is a great breath exercise created by Jill Miller that is meant to practice anytime and to do when you are feeling overwhelmed or stressed.

Mmmmaaaahhhhoooohhhh!
That one worked! Just had an argument with my husband and as I often do, Aura is where I come to get grounded. With so many buttons pushed and my inner child and ego screaming for attention, this worked fast on my anxiety to bring me back to a place of calm to help sooth both and be able to start listening without judgment and sit with the feelings.

Vibrations
Feeling and noting the different vibrations when making these mmmaaaoooo exhales was relaxing and connecting in itself, on completion of a few rounds I really do feel a shift towards a more peaceful inner space. Thank you. X

Vagus Nerve
I felt vibrated like I released some tension and I little stimulated. I enjoyed this one a lot.

Very cool!
I learned that vibrations can play a big part in grounding us. I’m a musician so it really does make sense but I had never heard of this practice before! It worked so well for me. I may try to start off each morning like this. Thank you!
