Using your mind just to listen to your breathing makes you realize how little do we know what goes on without our control. Still once we pay attention to it we are able to control it as we wish.

I learned that whenever you do anything whether it’s running the hardest race or celebrating an achievement your breath is always there no matter if you recognise it or not, it follows you around like a shadow and feel es through the same times you do. So, thank you to this meditation for helping me realise this.

Although I typically love any meditation that focuses on the breath as it’s so easy to center yourself with your breath, for some reason my mind was wandering all over the place during this meditation. I know not why.

I have tried so hard in the past to not let my mind wonder but today I just let it and would go back to my breath. It was very relaxing letting my thoughts appear and then concentrating on my breath. They just came in and out.

Most of these exercises are breathing exercises, I did not know this, but I am enjoying my 3 mins a day that I keep to myself. It has been a good mental health thing for a college student. I am feeling good.

My mind wandered a lot- but I did return to the breath. “Building trust in the return”. I realized this is the first time Im not waiting for someone to return to me. Or for me to return to myself- I feel at peace in a space of learning, wellness, and growing. I wonder if there is a person who fits into this?

This meditation was a great one to do today as I have a lot going on around me (people in the house) so reminding myself that my breath is always there regardless of if my mind is on it or not was comforting. It helped me learn to take my focus away from the things around me (as hard as it was) and continue to zone in on my breath.
