Triggers
I really liked this. How to work through and understand our triggers. They are opportunities for us to grow and become.

Hmmmโ€ฆ๐Ÿค”
I thought this life coaching session was going to give guidance on how to deal with triggers in your life. I understand when something or someone triggers us it usually has to do with something from our past or a part of us that we do not like about ourselves that needs healing. For me, I did not learn anything new from this talk. And, if you are looking for tips on how to deal with triggers in your life this session does not offer that.

What you want is on the other side of where it feels hard to go. every trigger offers treasure we despise someone bc we havenโ€™t accepted the part of us that is like them

Dig deep
I learned that I should dig deeper and find why some things trigger me as they do. It's not easy though.

Triggers in the rigor of practice is out in the real world
๏ฟผ I do need my cushion meditative reflective time and I try to build it right in the same space as where my triggers occur. Triggers happen at home in the garage in the emails and text messages, phone calls shopping driving and in my head.

More like it
Calling the petty petty and acknowledging the pained parts of ourselves feels honest to me in a way the love meditation from today did not.

Every trigger offers treasures to the direction I'm going.
I need to appreciate my triggers mindfully exploring them to help in my healing journey. My goal is to focus on curiously responding rather than reacting.

Learn to curiously respond rather than react
Mindfully watch my triggers and see what I can learn. Focus on what they are trying to teach me and how it relates to my past so I'm able to let go.
