This is a visualization session. We bring to mind a special place in nature and access the feelings this place provides. This is about cultivating an "inner resource" by recalling the feeling of time alone in nature - and this is available to us anytime time when we need it!

Being able to pause amidst the noise and activity of everyday makes it possible to maintain a sense of calm; even in high pressure situations.

Time Alone in Nature
This is such a beautiful meditation! Nature has always been my cornerstone, my guide, and my source of solace. Whenever I get overwhelmed or feel drained or just in need of a moment or two to check in with myself I turn to Nature. This lovely meditation provides me with an easy way to access that and to enter a Nature temple of sorts - that sacred natural place where I immediately feel safe and nurtured and where I can leave the chaos of the world for a time. This is definitely a going to become a favorite!

Unspeakable
Once, in the middle of the Pacific, 4,000 miles from civilization, the silence was so profound only the ocean waves and the beating of my heart could be heard. On another occasion, I was in the middle of an Alaskan forest. Drinking from a mountain spring, i proclaimed "This is my Cathedral! The birds are my choir." In both instances I am intimate with nature and nature's creator.

Sooo peaceful
I imagine being in a mountain field filled with Pondarosa Pines. Small little mountain lakes just sitting there like a mirror and I could smell the pines all around with a very small mountain breeze blowing through. After the meditation I could still feel it and smell it. This was a wonderful meditation

Beautiful Irony
I didn't have to close my eyes for today's meditation, as I had the privilege of standing in one of my favorite places in nature - a scenic overlook in Black River Falls, Wisconsin. What a pleasant surprise to see that my meditation was entitled "Time in Nature"! Perfect!

I learned that just imaging going to your place that you think of, it can be a happy place and just letting your mind taking a break is really okay if you want a little break from whatever you are doing.

Yesteryears.
That when visualizing a place in the woods, I used to visit when I was a child, behind my house, when visualizing I can again feel for just a moment that I am that young child again, and my worries them were so much smaller, and it helps me to let my worries of today go.

Referencing back to memories is beautiful and amazing and fun, because they are memories, but also thinking about future places brings me joy. Just imagining playing on the beach with my sister. The warm sand warming my body but then the breeze to quickly cool it down

Happy place
The beautiful place I pictured literally brought a smile to my face. I pictured the lookout over Sproat Lake where we stopped by the side of the road to look at the beautiful scenery - the far reaching mountains, deep blue water, and radiant sun. I really felt like I was there again, enjoying the beauty of creation.

Nature
I find places with water and mountains so calming. I learned that it’s so very hard to drown everything out... the hum of traffic, my dog, my roommate, my stress/responsibilities... and just let go to meditate and relax. I need that ability back in my life to stay sane and keep a clear, focused mind.

Time Alone In Nature
Nature is always there...waiting to nurture us. Sometimes we need to imagine a favorite place and sometimes we are blessed to actually be there. On any day though, nature is only a breath...a moment away.

Walking in the park
I have a park that I go to often that has tons of nature. I just visualized walking along the trail and remembered pretty cool experiences with deer, birds, and squirrels. I remember the sound of the river, and the smell after it rains in the park. It’s very calming just to be one with nature. You realize they do watch you more closely than we sometimes pay attention to.

Peaceful Memories
Most of the time my mind breeds and feeds itself from traumatic horrible memories which creates anxiety. Fear directing my suffering. I forget about CHOICE! I forget the amazing moments of time that I’m blessed to have experienced. Today, I returned to my favorite place- a beach in Kawaii. Mesmerizing waves crashing and spraying fizz like droplets into the sky. Im learning how important it is for me to remember that I am the size of a piece of sand that is connected to every shore, the oceans, and the earth. This recreates my soul desires - awe, wonder, and connection.

Revitalized
I love to visualize myself being somewhere in nature, a forest, a meadow and quite often a beautiful coastal beach with cliffs. I can feel the temperature and breeze, I can smell the flowers, trees or ocean. It is so revitalizing and clears my mind of unwanted mental debris. 🌻🌅

Nature herself.
This meditation was so needed for me at this exact time. I felt myself instantly let go of stress, fear, worry, and my constant jumble of thoughts and just be in my happy place; a crisp, dark green forest that goes on for miles with a trickling bubbling stream running through out its earthy, textured ground I feel between my toes as I squish dirt in my wake. I wish I was in nature right now. It is winter and freezing where I live so this meditation rejuvenated me.

Fantasy land
I felt compelled to skip again as I have so many things to do and felt beyond anxious. So I began to let that be my sign to stop and meditate. I did this in the kitchen while my coffee was by my side, I kind of just stopped and dropped life for 3 mindful minutes. Now I didn’t have the best confidence on if this was gonna help my anxiety but those minutes felt like hours in a beautiful park I will always remember in London and Paris. Thank you. I didn’t realize how deep in your mind you can go and watch time evaporate before you eyes.

Time Alone in Nature
I imagined myself back on the farm in Ohio where I grew up where I could take a walk and go to my favorite maple tree. I imagined it to be at least 100 years old and it was at the top of a hill where the breeze rose up and swept my long hair back, clearing my mind of all my worries and toil. I sat down in the grass and then lay flat on the grassy surface running my fingers through the blades of thick soft greenery still feeling the wind over my body and face. Thank God for this world of beauty!

Attention
Yes I have a short attention span. Does it make it hard to focus? Yes everyday. Do I make it though each day with struggles? Hell yes. It is the only way I know how too. My attention span inhibits my learning, spelling, focus and many more things. But it makes me unique in the way I manage to power through life.

Sadness
Just learned of the unexpected passing of a friend. A punk kid when we moved into our house 30-some years ago, but always very respectful at our house. My hubby was kind of a stand-in dad, as his birth father wasnt in the picture. As a boy and a man, he had his issues, but was still the kind soul with us. He always had a special place in our hearts. My heart is breaking. 😥

I learned I can transport anywhere in the world in a few seconds (in my mind) -from beautiful mountain vistas with cool, lofty breezes & endless peaks visible off into the distance to the salty & windy Oceanside relaxing on the sand with the sun baking down and the endless roaring waves crashing on the shore to the dusty but fresh pine scented hiking trails through the national parks out West. Good memories , good times , good night!!😴💤

Freedom of the press
It was just a matter of time. “The free press is the enemy of the people.” The charismatic leader of a cult of personality continued to spew out hatred-laced, venomous attacks. Red meat for his audience of insecure, ignorant, brain-washed followers. Us vs. Them. Identify innocents and make them scapegoats. Tell your followers you alone are the only answer. Attack the institutions which protect the foundations of our way of life. Alienate allies, break alliances, unilaterally negotiate concessions with murderous dictators and get absolutely nothing in return. Lie, cheat, steal, manipulate, but never ever actually prepare a logical, cohesive policy based on evidence. Go with your gut, slap on tariffs, separate innocent little children from thier parents. Five journalists are dead. And yet those who know better still say nothing, still rationalize, still hold thier nose and look the other way. All because they got thier tax break.

A skip in time
I was listening to this peaceful meditation and envisioning one of my favorite places on Kauai, Hawaii, when suddenly I found myself in upstate New York lying in the grass with the clouds drifting by overhead, all shapes and sizes. There were birds singing, deer grazing and I was perfectly at peace with the forest nearby. I was so surprised that I felt transfixed. It was ...perfect.

Inner Peace
Time Alone In Nature, the title couldn’t be more true. If we ever have a chance to go there we should, and if we can’t, than that’s alright because if we even imagine being there we feel a sense of calm and peace. The sights, the sounds, all of senses come true when we are out there and seeing the beauty that the world still has to offer us and it’s not something we should take for granted.

365 days
This particular meditation I listened to when I first started using this app and now has become the last one of a 365 day streak. I feel like I’ve come a long way from where I once was and meditation has now become so integral to my life. This particular one always gives me a sense of calm and happiness because I can easily imagine the waterfall cove I went to near a camping ground I stayed at a long while ago. It was probably one of the most calming times I’ve been in nature because it felt relatively untouched by people. It was like being transported to a magical world in ways. I hope to go back there again some day.

Time alone
I feel like I’ve been remembering who I am lately. Time alone has been essential to the process. I have a tendency to panic and turn to others, but that’s really not serving me. I know how I function best and I need to trust that. Anyone who encourages me to depend on them is actually being self serving.

Open eyes
I did not need to close them as a sat upon a grassy hill surveying my beautiful place. Taking a glimpse to last a life time, the hills, the trees, the sky I watched as a bumblebee flew past me intent in its busy life. The dogs sat at my feet always watchful, birds settled in for the night. Behind my back an egg shaped stone supported me, I used to tell my son it was a dragons egg that one day would hatch to populate the earth again. The sky is darkening now, a hint of pink graces the horizon blushes against a deepening blue. Goodbye day and welcome night, may tomorrow bring some peace.

Nature - where?

Heaven on Earth
Lauren: your meditation reminds me of my 7 visits to a South Pacific island (over 2,000 miles to “civilization”). At 4 AM I sat on the beach and the stars appeared so close, it was as if you could touch them. It was so quiet, I actually felt and heard the beat of my heart! And I observed a near-by island, not 20 miles away. Than I heard the crashing waves upon the shore. PEACE, QUIET & INTIMACY WITH NATURE Thank You my beloved friend 😇❤️🌴

This meditation brought me back to a beautiful place I discovered on one of my hikes in the Fall. This trail was in the city but had the beauty of being up in the North Georgia Mountains. I could feel the sunshine on my face, feel the crisp fresh air on my skin, hear the leaves crunching under my feet as I walked, and seeing some vibrant colors on the trees. I could smell the damp earth as well as the river. This memory put a smile on my face. I felt like I was right there again.

Fortified
It has been proven that by spending time out in nature can boost our mood. In this wonderful meditation, Lauren has us visualize a place where we may have been in nature and experience the place once again through our mind’s eye. Through my minds eye, I was taken back to one of the most beautiful places in nature I have ever been fortunate to go, called Eagle River Nature Center, the gateway to Chugach State Park, located 45 minutes north of Anchorage, Alaska. I remember taking this one interpretive loop trail that began slightly downhill, through various tree stands, lush vegetation and abundant wildflowers. As I followed the trail, it opened up to a wooden platform, crossing a body of water. I looked to my left and there was two majestic mountains, which are part of the Chugach Mountain Range, standing tall against the deep blue sky. As I looked at this picturesque site, I was overwhelmed with peace and gratitude. Continuing walking, I began hearing waterfowl in the distance as the platform winds around until it reached land once again. Following the trail, I am lead through more lush vegetation and abundant wildflowers until it reached the Nature Center. What a fantastic experience! This is truly a wonderful meditation to listen to! It’s a great escape for our mind. Visualizing this beautiful place in nature has not only relaxed me, but has fortified me! Thank you, Lauren! Namaste 🙏🏻❤️☮️

Soothing
What a beautiful guided meditation to take time out in nature whilst my body was still sitting on the sofa! I actually had a few minutes where the chatter of my mind was quiet and I was feeling long grass through my finger tips and watching butterflies dancing in the sky. I felt peaceful and soothed for a brief time which was just what I needed. I will be saving this one as it was so effective for me to quiet my mind and transport me elsewhere.

Feeling the water
I felt the water run through my fingers as I paused my paddling in my kayak and drifted forward in the lake. I felt peace, and awe at the beauty and serenity of being a 16 year old again in my red kayak. Thank you. Peace is possible. #ShareGoodness

Nature
I learnt that I can use places that I have been where I felt calm and at peace with visualisation to allow myself to destress when I need to. I can use this visualisation meditation to take a moment when I need some alone time. That’s a really useful thing to have especially during this time.

Thoughts
Right now I’m going thru a rough time where I’ve been having panic attacks and I hit myself then I try to calm myself down because at that moment I feel so overwhelmed by negativity that idk what to do and I become the smallest person I can be I know I need help I don’t know what I’m doing wrong but I know that I’m doing something wrong just don’t know what yet The thing I used to calm myself with and be less anxious my mom hates it and she cries and I cry because I made her feel bad but I feel so bad that I could cry for hours and hit myself for long periods until I get bruises or bleed I don’t know what to do to handle myself This audio actually helped me for a bit so thanks

Take a moment
Visualizing a beautiful place I’ve been before and remembering the sights, sounds and my feelings while I was there. Took me away from reality for a moment and helped me relax.

Peacefulness In Nature
I find nature is and will always be a natural source of energy, peacefulness, and relaxation. If you are ever feeling overwhelmed with stress or any negative emotion try taking a walk in your local nature path it always helps keep you calm

Contentment
I feel a sense of contentment. Letting go of the things I cannot control, and taking a hold of the things I can. This is a great meditation technique. One I will use again.

my forest
ever since i was about 9 years old, i had this safe spot in my mind where i would visualise myself sitting in a rainforest, just enjoying the scenery and the feeling of comfort. i went to that place again today, and it was so relaxing just being able to give my mind a break from the busy world we live in :))
