Stillness
It's nice to just take a couple of minutes to get centered and be still in a life and day of so much craziness, being busy and non-stop all day. It's refreshing, even for such a short moment.

Guided breathing meditations are my favorite, however, as the holidays near I’m not at my best. The religious and spiritual aspects of Christmas are in my heart; all the other stuff, not so much.

Always relaxing and soothing to pay attention to the process of breathing. Especially nice with all the hustle and bustle of the holiday season. Deep breathing really does calm the mind and nervous system.

I learned that taking a breather and focusing on what’s happening internally opposed to externally, is a must. I found a small quiet corner and was able to focus on my breathing and my body to the point that I felt very at peace after just three minutes.

I am not chaos. I am separate from chaos. It may often be around me, it may often fill my mind, but chaos itself is not me. I am a separate entity and I can choose to step back and breathe a barrier. Chaos is over there. I am a separate entity.
