Dancing with Calm
Sitting in an upright position, I brought awareness to my breath. The exciting feeling of newness on the in breath and the relaxing feeling of letting go on the out breath. I found myself in moment to moment awareness, where a graceful and elegant dance with calm began.
While dancing with calm, two worlds became apparent. The outer world, where I could hear birds chirping away and this inner world where a calm silence existed. In tune with this graceful and elegant dance within, all worries and anxieties disappeared. Having an experience of no mind, I didn’t overthink anything. My body already knew the steps. Allowing the body to do the work, I was free to take the hand of calm and just dance.
