I learned that all this negative feelings and stress is temporary. It’s not always like this. I felt warm and i felt like i cared for myself by that simple reminder and a rub on the back on my hand. I feel relieved.

Passing States Like Clouds
This was a wonderful reminder to just be present with what is happening, knowing that everything changes, like clouds in the sky. This re-connected me with my Sacred Witness and it was a nice return. 😇

Try as I might, sometimes it’s very hard to remember that things do get better. I have been learning though that taking a break and being more mindful may give me the opportunity to see the problem or feeling in a different perspective. That new view opens a door to new insights in problem solving. This is a great meditation!!! ❤️🙏

Reminding yourself that this too shall pass. You have to try to step back and label the moment the irritation etc. I like the thought of a peaceful recent moment that you had instead of necessarily trying to find peace this exact moment.

It’s not permanent

I have to remember that these days don't last forever. Life is ebb and flow, good and bad. My anxiety may seem like it never exits my life, but there are good days. There are euphoric moments. I choose to be excited about those first and foremost and not focus on how sad the anxious days make me feel. It's up and down. Celebrate the Up's. Be aware of the downs and take what you can learn from them. I will remember this.

I will not always feel this way. Remembering a moment when I felt calm and relaxed was so reassuring. Picturing myself there again will be such a help when I’m anxious and stressed. I felt calm and relaxed before and I will feel calm and relaxed again. Putting my hand on my heart and rubbing my arm with the other hand was so comforting. I will do this meditation again. Thank you

Stress is temporary but it can be a stepping stone to greater things which helps me get through it
I like the concept of regarding stress as a temporary state but I work better remembering the goal that the stress is in service of rather than thinking of times when I wasn't stressed.

It really makes sense that these are exercises that only get better and more effective, I practice these with a coach Practice them enough and your brain learns to calm down significantly

For the last 3 days I've had waves of anxiety it comes and goes throughout the day and it's so scary because I've never had this or atleast this bad. I feel like I'm drowning and no one can help. I finally feel a bit more calm.

I’m reminded that my “heightened states” are usually very short lived; minutes, not days or longer. If I pay attention to that state, I can usually defuse it by just walking into another room, or stepping outside. Plus taking a few deep breaths.

Whenever I feel incredibly anxious or depressed, I find myself in a dark place and wondering if I’ll ever go back to normal. I find myself going through illogical thought processes and taking on incorrect perspectives of what is happening. I hope that in the future I will be able to revisit this meditation and remind myself that the feeling is temporary and that it will pass.

time. Anxiety isn’t a temporary state for me. The very few times I have felt at peace are brief and can’t be returned to. Can’t go back to those times or places. I would love, love to find a peaceful moment where I’m not anxious or afraid or worrying It isn’t as simple as described here. Sad...

I really loved this one. I find when I'm in the midst of a panic attack that one of my first thoughts is "what if this never gets better?" This is a great reminder though that things always change and that one state is not forever. I also love the idea of offering yourself love and gratitude with a kind touch, like you would do for a friend.

I have not completely gotten away from feeling anxiousness but I am feeling better after doing this meditation. So I’ll just keep going with my meditations. My heart region feels career and less tense.

This meditation reminded me of the quote, “feelings are visitors; let them come and go.” Often times, repeating this quote and my other favorite “this too shall pass” helps me remind myself that I may not feel okay right now, but I will be okay in the near future. The uncertainty of my future brings up so much anxiety, but having a daily meditation practice is what allows me to be fully present, even if it’s only a few minutes at a time.
