The Soles of my Feet
Neuro-Trauma Informed Mindfulness
Inspired by the poem by Arwa Qutbuddin, “My feet are bare. The earth is alive and holding. I feel the Soul right in my soles. Each step is tender and sacred. This walk is precious and long”. This practice is accessible to all, including those who are not able to touch their feet onto the ground. Have a partner ready to provide pressure to the bottoms of your feet if you cannot plant them firmly on the ground yourself.
Notice how you are steady, strong, and firmly planted in this meditation practice.
