The Rooster Who Crowed Too Soon

This is another wonderful children's story by Abbie Phillips Walker (circa 1917). In this story, a very proud rooster is taught a lesson about crowing too much and too soon about his abilities. There are character voices and a nice gentle ending. It takes place on a farm and as such, things happen on a farm in the way that they do. Suitable for children approximately 6-7 years of age and up.
