The Red Room by H.G. Wells - With SFX

This is a frightfully fun story written by author H. G. Wells, where the ending has a thoughtful insight attached to it. On the surface, it seems like a scary ghost story, but it's not really. We find out that things are not as they seem in this old house. H.G. Wells is best known as a pioneering author who helped shape the modern science fiction genre. Although I believe his work has tremendous truth in it, he was, in fact, trying to educate people through what are otherwise fictional stories.
