We are often told that being the victim holds no power in life, and yet the other extreme - being overly responsible for life - is actually a spiritual trap, too. In this lesson I discuss the problem with this imbalanced approach to growth and success, and how to find the middle road.

Life Purpose
What is your life purpose? What do you want to do with your life? All of us at some point in our life have been asked that question. When we do not have a clear answer to that question, we often feel inadequate. We live in a society that measures success by how much we are constantly doing and achieving. It is easy to fall into the trap of constantly working towards self improvement. When we fall into this trap, it leaves us with the feeling of “I am not good enough.” Our life purpose is utilizing our gifts from within which our creator has instilled within us. Once we become clear on our gifts, we become a messenger. It really is that simple. Viewing our life purpose from this perspective takes that heavy weight off of our shoulders. It leaves room for play and creativity. Excellent session!! I highly recommend listening to this one.

Responsibilities…
Good reminder that we have a tendency to feel responsible for things that aren’t really ours to be responsible for. Learning to differentiate what is and what is not, is freeing.
