There are so many benefits of meditation including the use of our breath to return to the present moment. One of the most powerful actions we can take is to live in the preshent moment; to gain awareness, to quiet our mind, and to shift our perspective. In this meditation you will also discover how to experience your 'breath cycle' as a new (and rather magical way) of holding attention in the present; in the space and calm of 'now'. This is a simple meditation and it works so very well!! I really love it!! Namaste!! xo dorothy

1st date
Nerves. Jitters. Anxiety. Were gone because of how the event was organized. I got to warm up before the 1st card was played. I had excellent people watching my body language. I learned how to trust myself. When I was done I honored my needs. So thankful for my angels tonight. So grateful that I honored my heart, soul, mind, and body.

Wow
Nothing brings more peace than having a small amount of time for yourself, to just breathe and focus on the now. Not yesterday, tomorrow or in a couple hours. Just now.

The Present Moment
There are so many distractions all day...everyday presenting the challenges to a mindfulness practice. Our breath is always there, too, offering relief and focus. Thanks, Dorothy, for the reminder. Namaste šŸ™šŸ».

Excellent meditation
I love, just love, knowing my breathe. It makes me feel love and present. All our worries and fears are just illusions being played out by our mind. We just need to stop being a prisoner of our own mind.

What is right
I learned that in these moments I have the most clear and conscious thoughts on my life. Not while I’m busy running around during the day, because that’s when my thoughts tend to run as well. I felt very at peace after this session. I feel incredibly relaxed and confident in what is happening in my life, especially with it being finals week.

About to take a big exam....
It’s amazing how much more relaxed I feel. And yes loved the quote ā€œfear is the favorite disease of the 20th centuryā€. My goal is to live without fear and to learn from my mistakes. And above all....to be gentle with myself as I learn.

Pause
You can live a life time in that pause when you inhale and just before you exhale. I have never noticed it before. In that moment you expand, between life and death and make the choice to keep living. Some would say it is mechanical, your bodies need to keep going. But stop in that instance and know it is magical, the air that nourishes you , the body that sustains your physical well being and the spirituality that express the joy of life. Pause and feel your choice.

The present
In the present you choose what is right and what is best for you. Your mistakes do not exist in the present. They are things of the past and they have no room in the now.

Another that's not for me
It's unfortunate. I had hopes but they were dashed. Need more breathing and less guiding for me. Ah well!

Focus on the Now
I learned that when you are worrying about what happens tomorrow or in two hours you start to not focus on the present and you get overwhelmed. I think this reminded me to slow down. And I need to ask myself Can you do it later today or do I not even need to worry about it

Flight
Focusing deeply on each phase of the breath like this often reminds me of a bird in slow motion flight. With each slow inhale the wings rise up gracefully; with each exhale the wings move downward, pressing against the air and propelling us forward into the moment.

Deeply
Breathing helps you slow the mind and calm the spirt. It helps you forget about the outside distractions and you focus on the task at hand. You clear your mind and realize how to adapt and change to the problem. If there were no problems then the world would be to easy to live in.

Breathing is important
I recalled how important our choice of breathing pace is when it comes to emotional stability. Usually our breathing spikes with strong emotions, but as soon as we take a deep breath our head starts clearing up from the cloud of emotions.

It is always the now
We always fear about the future. We sometimes relive the past and forget the now. Always choose the present. Always choose the now. Take a moment to realize the beauty of the present. Honor your life, guard your heart, have new perspective, and refocus. Make yourself be known. We always go back to the awareness of breathing that makes us calm. We have that sense of realization and reflection.

It’s my journey
It is up to me to be present in the moment and present in everything I do. Taking a moment each day to reflect and recognize that power of mine is a great gift.

Being in the present moment
I learned that focusing on every aspect of breathing creates a feeling and appreciation of being in the present moment. We get so caught up with planning and worrying about the future or thinking about the past we so often forget to appreciate our existence in the current moment.

Parking lot meditation
A moment of quiet in a very LOUD and stressful day. Needed the quiet space of my car while Henry was at b-ball practice to recentre after A day that was filled with meeting other peopleā€˜s needs but not my own. Oh and I was also locked in the bathroom today at school and had to have the door kicked in that’s how I started my day

Present
Oh my. Really liked this one. I need to work more on being in the present. Too often we worry about the future or dwell in the past. Why can’t we just LIVE in the moment. Ugh. Great session this one

living in the present
we are so feared by what our past will affect and what we need to do for the future but we don’t ever just live in the present. but when we do live in the present it is powerful and worth the experience or lesson.

Centered
This deep breathing meditation and the guidance by Dorothy is quite powerful for me. I was able to do it comfortably for the 7 minutes. I was so focused and felt so centered that I don’t think I had any interference by outside thoughts or feelings. I felt like I was floating actually. I wish it could have been longer. Namaste šŸ™
