It's easy to get caught in the rat race and run and run, forgetting what we're doing it all for. Could we find a bit of peace and happiness now, rather than putting it off till the future?

Greatness starts small
I learned that it's not important to be successful at everything as long as you're happy with it

Living...
I truly enjoyed this story! Simple pleasures really are what life is about. Not working harder or longer to make more money (& wearing out your body, mind and/or soul) but making enough and then enjoying life in every way possible. Hopefully we can teach the next generation the wisdom of this story and help them stay focused on what’s truly important! Thank you Jiva for this powerful reminder! ❤️☮️🍀

Simplicity
Enjoying the little things in life makes life worth it. We try to find happiness in things like money, but doing so blinds us from the things we already have that make us just as happy if not happier.

I felt lighter
Thinking about something a little more deeper actually opened my mind a little. It also made we think to stop wanting more and be happy with what I have because in the end it all is the same.

Money doesn’t buy happiness
I used to be a workaholic til last year when I quit a job that was no longer good for my mental well being. I was fortunate to be able to take a few months off to recharge which I needed. I have returned back to work but my focus has shifted as to what is important. It used to be work was always #1 and everything else came after. Now my home life is #1 and work comes 2nd which my boss understands. I’m very fortunate I work for a company that understands this. I’m getting better at balancing work/life. Like the fisherman in this story I make enough to provide for what I need and my family. The true treasure is being present for those important moments and spending time with the important people in my life. As well as making time for myself.

Life is too short to not be happy. Money may buy comfort but it won’t buy inner peace.

My Story
This story symbolizes my life, I was like the MBA and then became the fisherman. I wished I’d learned the lesson earlier.

Find what it is that you love doing for fun as a hobby or to make a few pennies and do it. Grab life
By the horns and make the best of it. Life is short No sense in being miserable

A beautiful lesson
A lovely reminder this morning of what is really important. My chaos and rat race of research and money making will only pull me away from my two beautiful kids who sit nnext to me right now playing joyfully with their cars

Money and career success cannot buy happiness
This story taught me that while making money and succeeding in one’s career are important , these things alone well not lead to True happiness. What will make us truly happy, is making time for the things and people we love. I am grateful to the life coaches and others who work with this app for putting this track together thank you for teaching me to avoid my workaholic tendencies and to strive to live a more balanced life. Thank you also to the community on this app for taking the time to read this post.I hope you are all OK, happy, and well.

The fisherman story
I learnt that life is all about quality and, not quantity. Ask - when enough is enough.
