Definitely an under used word. Especially in simple situations like having a good time with a relative or friend, this is where happiness can come from within. Cherish the little moments.

Beach Vacation
My husband and I just got back from Punta Cana. We had such a wonderful time. During this meditation I was thinking about our trip and the time we got to spend together. Both of us really appreciated having that time. During this meditation I was replaying visions of our trip. My heart is filled with gratitude this morning.

Graduation
Recently, I went to Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio to see my nephew, Ryan graduate from boot camp. As I was listening to this meditation, I remember the first time I saw him. I almost didn’t recognize him! After all, it had been three years since the last time I had seen him. In this open field, he was standing tall and a sense of discipline was written on his face. Once my niece and nephew ‘tapped’ him out, he moved and I was able to look into his eyes for the first time. There was a sense of proudness about him and I had never seen him happier in his life. My little Ryry had turned into this accomplished and determined man! I went up to him and gave him the biggest hug. I will never forget how much love and pride I felt in this moment! I am very grateful to share such a wonderful and memorable moment with him and will treasure this experience for the rest of my life. I wish him the very best as he ventures on this new journey in his life and I will be there for him every step of the way. God Speed Ryan! 🇺🇸❤️🇺🇸

Being Positive
In today’s world where it seems like everyone is constantly in a mood, including myself, this practice really made me think back to good times, happy times that I’ve spent with people I care about. Just a reminder that bad things don’t last and good things will always come around.

Really learning to appreciate others and thank them for all that they do makes your life so much more fulfilling. It makes us realize that we truly have so much love in our lives.

In today’s lesson we can all learn the importance of being thankful and showing gratitude for all the good times we had with the people we love who are living and the ones who have passed away. For me personally I have plenty of people to thank for all the good and memories we shared over the years

This practice of gratitude enlightened me on the vibration that giving others gratitude for a moment doesn’t take away your effort or energy put into it.. it simply makes you spread that love and gratitude of the moment onto others while realizing you have them to thank for it greatly. This practice gave me much serenity and peacefulness within. I felt calm, serene and thankful. And I can use this practice to thank the creator and only the creator for this practice. <3
