Graduation
Recently, I went to Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio to see my nephew, Ryan graduate from boot camp. As I was listening to this meditation, I remember the first time I saw him. I almost didn’t recognize him! After all, it had been three years since the last time I had seen him.
In this open field, he was standing tall and a sense of discipline was written on his face. Once my niece and nephew ‘tapped’ him out, he moved and I was able to look into his eyes for the first time. There was a sense of proudness about him and I had never seen him happier in his life. My little Ryry had turned into this accomplished and determined man! I went up to him and gave him the biggest hug. I will never forget how much love and pride I felt in this moment! I am very grateful to share such a wonderful and memorable moment with him and will treasure this experience for the rest of my life. I wish him the very best as he ventures on this new journey in his life and I will be there for him every step of the way. God Speed Ryan! 🇺🇸❤️🇺🇸
