Who am I ?
Who do I want to be? And, why? Recently, I discovered the answer to both of these questions which redefines what success means to me. Both of my parents have always measured success by going to college and having a successful career. I know it was always important to them especially my mom that I be able to stand on my own two feet. For 22 years I had a very successful career in a job that I loved. However, last year I made the choice to give up my career because my life went into a totally different direction. It has been quite the adjustment. My job defined who I was. Recently, I am able to find the gift in this change. I am finally figuring out who I am, what is important to me, and why. Thank you Lisa for this very thoughtful provoking session!๐
