A Twist on Progessive Relaxation
This, unlike other progressive meditations, encourages moving from one body spot to the next place the body asks for attention. Nonjudgmentally move in the seemingly random way without asking why, simply respond to the ask of your body. Also, rather than letting intrusive thoughts become part of the relaxation (see them as clouds floating by, or come back from the thought), try a different way by saying, "I am doing this, I will come to you when I am done." ❤️
