Good Morning Everyone. Of course the Sun is not out. We get an hour more sleep that's a good thing if your home sleeping. I hope everyone has a wonderful Sunday. I'm always up early it's my normal routine. I have to do a few things around the house before the children get up. I just wanted to say that I really enjoyed this being a part of this Calm Respectful Caring Sharing Community on this App. I'm still new at this I like the idea that everybody is nice to one another and everybody gives good advice. It is really good when you don't know people and you write something and you get feedback good to have different opinions in different ways of thinking. Learning to stay positive by finding little things that make you happy makes you feel good inside and lets you feel free from reality. This lesson makes me go back to summer day when I would go out in the field, sit in the grass and watch the sunset go down until it was gone. It was my absolute favorite thing to do in the summer. The Sun has always meant two things to me. First the Sun brings warmth and comfort and therefore safety. However the second is that the sun brings fire and burning and therefore danger. Like life itself, the key is to be able to balance the warmth without being burnt. We are constantly balancing danger with safety and there is a certain comfort in that.

It's supposed to be -10*F overnight with the wind chill well below that. My mustache froze while I shoveled 6" of snow from the walk tonight. My shoulders and back are tight from jumping up and down at a concert last night. Visualizing the warm, relaxing sunshine, lounging on the grass in an amphitheater by Lake Superior on a cloudless summer day was just what I needed right now.

Visualization exercises are always a bit of a challenge for me because I often imagine places I have been to before and then my mind wanders off to memories and past adventures. But this one felt different tonight! I entered feeling anxious and tired, now I’m left feeling more calm, still tired, but not as emotionally drained. The sunshine is within me already. If I can remember that when I feel anxious or tired or scared, I can calm my mind and return to my breath and heartbeat.

This meditation got me to pause it and run outside where I could sit in the sunshine and feel everything lyndi was describing.. I loved it and she was very on point with the descriptions and I do believe that with a feeling as familiar at the sun on my skin.. I could not visualize the sun. Too much inner turmoils. All I could see at first was a large swarm of insects dancing & moving about a dark sky like a large flock of birds do. I was able to change the insects to pinpricks of light so it looked like the universe was dancing & swirling about, but still no sun.

The perfect timing of Aura! I awoke to -5 degrees this morning and this was meditation was waiting for me. So I eagerly played it and felt the suns warmth all over my body thanks to Lindys suggestions. It was warming and energizing me! I was attracting & soaking it all up like a big sun magnet-battery so I could stay warm all day and maybe shine some on others that are so focused on the cold. I could see my arms turning golden bronze with beads of sweat just like I was lying on the beach. I especially like the warmth on my head and face...ahh! Thanks Aura for helping me stay warm thru this winter by focusing on the warmth of the Sunshine instead of the coldness of the Mercury! After all “Where Focus goes, Energy flows!” ❤️🌞🍀

I was able to depend on my mind to provide things I needed or longed for, as if I was in a blissful void rid of all physicality. On a windy and colder day, I wanted to listen to a meditation where I could visualize warmth of the sunshine on my body. In this meditation, Lyndi gives us the warmth from the sun in a body scan type format, leaving us feeling refreshed. Visualizing the warmth of the sunshine on each part of my body, my muscles began to soften and relax. After a awhile, the warmth became so great that it began to penetrate through my skin and into my heart. With each heartbeat, this warmth began to flow throughout my entire body and eventually seep into my soul. Having my mind, body and soul being bathed in the warmth of this sunshine has left me with a sense of aliveness, a sense of peace and a heart full of gratitude!🌞

Thinking of warmer days.. figuratively and literally, of course. I am reminded of Oahu.. listening to the waves crash against the ocean and basking in the sun's rays. Little did I know that things would be different months later. The sun shining but only beinf able to enjoy its presence from indoors. Spring -- my favorite season. How we take for granted life's moments of feeling free and unburdened. Thinking of warmer days.. where we were able to not only feel the embrace of the sun, but the embrace of our loved ones.
