Embracing yourself
Currently I’m reading “The Alchemist”, and I find myself on my own journey to seek a Personal Legend. It is easy to forget who you are and what you have along the way; however I need to keep reminding myself that my most valuable treasure is my authentic self, my soul that needs to constantly be nurtured.

Mountain
I need to remain solid and stable like a mountain, even when the seasons and conditions of my life change.

Being a mountain means
Being my authentic self means acceptance through every season. Aware of the changes but steadfast in existing.

Birthday Mountain
Listening to the mountain analogy on my birthday was quite relevant as I am very aware of my age today and the fact that I am still the same self inside even as seasons, events, others come and go. While my surroundings may change year to year, the mountain is still the mountain sitting quietly within and observing what happens around me.

Stress resilence
Imagine yourself as a mountain. Strong, resilient and beautiful. Seasons come and go. People come and go. May you remain true like the mountain.

The mountain is, therefor I am. As it is meant in every circumstance.
Cycles of ups and downs happen as often as seasons and as many throughout existence

4-4-18 Stress resilience meditation
The end of the meditation brought tears to my eyes, hearing, “you magnificent being.” This meditation fits well with the self-compassion work I’ve been doing.

My mountain
I envision my mountain as a strong being in this world ever surrounded with cherry blossoms and soft clouds. This in a way allows me to reach a peaceful state and reminds me that I too am that mountain. Strong and beautiful as well as an important being in this world
