Sounds are everywhere
Sounds are just sounds, opportunities to be mindful, even those distracting, loud ones at times

Very helpful
My family really enjoyed this meditation. Great for shifting attention from thoughts to sounds.

Sound meditation
I haven't been practicing my meditation for a few weeks. I forgot what awesome experience it is to be truly in the moment. It is wonderful to hear the nuances of the rhythm and melodies of nature. It is amazing how it the chattering in mind stops and I can feel the true message of my soul. I am blessed to have this day.

Tuning into sound
I realized how quickly my mind dives into a story and goes it's own way as soon as I concentrate on a sound. Coming back to the sound and letting go of the story is challenging and releasing at the same time

Great exercise in non-judgement
I tried the 7 min version in downward facing dog. Physically and mentally challenging, but helped me stay focused on sensation / sound rather than anxiety.

Sounds
Routine noises: washing mashing, my children conversing with each other, wind dancing in the trees and my stomach grumbling. Blessed to acknowledge the ability to hear and embrace the sounds as they centre me for the rest of this day.

Listening
Lovely guidance...I was able to better appreciate layers, textures, and tones to the sounds around me. The judgement of sounds...so interesting! So human...šŸ˜‰

Hearing and Listening
I learned it is often more important to hear things rather than listen.

Let go of stress
Be the sound and let it absorb within and I will find peace. The sounds will no longer clash together, but sound beautiful again. šŸ’•

Columbus Day 2017
I had my very first meditation today and even though it was on an app on my phone and it was short and sweet, I found it brought tears to my eyes and a smile to my face and stress did release. I also learned that sounds are important and listening to the voices from the fur babies when relaxed are just important as stressed. My heart light was on and I was able to tune in to my inner self..thank you Aura!

I listened
That listening to just the sounds of nature (real nature) for a change has a huge effect on how much more I tune out of my todo list!!

Finding Focus
With my personal barriers to a clear and relaxed mind, it was a treat to find a technique that works to take some of the edge off and just let me enjoy being where I am. Having the soft sound of the fan on my desk to ground myself in focus really helped with this meditation.

Relax
I need to relax my shoulders and neck, I'm so tense there and I think that's where I put all my problems with things instead of actually working through them.

Sounds
There were a lot of louder sounds happening such as the bathroom fan, which made it really hard to focus on the main message. I feel like it could've been really good if it was more natural sounds.

Distracting
I’m not so sure that this really helped me as it was more distracting than anything. Maybe that was the point, to have my mind focused on sounds so that my stress level would be reduced. It might have helped a bit.

Form of sounds

Not labeling sounds
I learned that when I hear a sound I will try to not label it as good or bad, and just focus on what I am hearing at that very moment.

I love sound.
I was so lucky to be in the countryside walking my doggies while listening to this meditation. I heard the wind in the trees. The birdsong. The occasional car passing down on the road. My dogs collar jangling and their panting as they walked. Bliss ā¤ļø

Sound Meditation
There is an inherent joy in simply listening to the sounds that surround you and add dimension to your life experiences. To sit quietly and allow the sounds to lightly wash over and around me is such a thrilling experience and one that I find so soothing. This meditation reminded me of just how much I enjoy it. Thank You.

Noises are simply sound
Noise, sound... merely is. Nothing to become overly annoyed with. Acknowledge, release, and move on. I’ll do my best.

It's OK
Environmental sounds are not making my meditation less ideal...they are part of the experience. I can learn to meditate and calm myself anywhere.
C

I tune out a lot of sounds. I heard new things!
I do create stories but I can acknowledge and let go. It’s not always about breathing not about acknowledging thoughts

Quiet is the sound

Acknowledging sounds is powerful
When my mind drifted into making a story about the sound, learning how to pull that back to just the sound. Wow. Very powerful

Awareness of Space
It’s amazing how we take the sense of hearing for granted. I could hear everything...the sound of the refrigerator, the water dripping from my bathroom faucet, the sound of the heat blowing into the room, my roommate pacing in his room- Ahh-Mazing! šŸ™šŸ¾

Sound
This was an interesting meditation and I did hear noises I wouldn’t have noticed. I think I prefer to focus inward and become more aware of what’s happening to me while blocking out the sounds around me.

Sound
I had no idea how something as simple as what we hear each and every day could be taken advantage of. I loved this practice. I definitely will move forward in life with much more appreciation for the sounds I come across. Whether that be a loud AC machine, cars zooming past me or even a voice of another person.

Deafening...
I learned my house and road are VERY quiet in the middle of the night! I kept listening for a sound, any sound, but the quiet got so deafening... I kept leaning more & more into it ... & then I finally heard... snoring 😳 & was immediately back listening again.🤭 I guess that is still a form of awareness, right?! šŸ˜“āœŒšŸ¼

Silent and yet not
Crickets chirped, wind softly whistled, a car sounded in the distance traversing windy roads. The dogs snored and the pig grunted in her sleep under our window. Even the dark breathed gently with us and the stars sang their quiet refrain in the inky night. Just beyond the house I hear the querying call of a kiwi searching for a mate. I love the country sounds at night, far from quiet but more a symphony of rightness to drift into the land of dreams,

Sound
I am prone to giving the sound a story vs just letting it be sound. The mind is truly remarkable when we let it be

I learned that
An amazing form of meditation involves simply listening to and focusing on the sounds around you and allowing yourself to relax enough so that you don’t think about what is making those sounds.

Tranquility in a noisy place
I never really listened to all the background noises. It’s possible to find peace among the hustle and bustle of the world around you. A reminder that stillness can still be found in a crowd.

Tuning into Sounds
I was surprised to realize that this wasn’t a comfortable meditation for me. I did the meditation in the silence of my bedroom where the only sound was my ever present tinnitus. This practice simply underscored how bad my tinnitus is. šŸ˜”

Simple sound
I found this meditation really effective since I end up taking sound as is relatively easy unless it’s talking (I think hang onto the meaning of the words rather than the sound of the voice itself). I ended up being in a really balanced state of mind for this session and I feel pretty good afterward too.

Anita
I felt so relaxed and gently more relaxed as the guided meditation continued, very much enjoyed.
I learned that tho I’m concentrating on my deep breathing, it’s ok to be listening to surrounding sounds but not to focus much on them. It’s welcoming and relaxing. Was becoming even more relaxed as it went, definitely smiling throughout. Really enjoyed the moment of accepting sound and being mindful of exterior while focusing on inner.

Overcoming fear
I’ve always had a hard time dealing with sitting in silence. The small noises and tick would overwhelm my anxiety and make me nervous. But this exercise actually helped me with those little noises and used them to calm me instead. Would be worth repeating

Curiosity
Curiosity is a natural state for me. I was such a curious child, always full of wonder at the beauty of the world around me. But the responsibilities of adulthood have sent me into an anxious spiral. If I can return to curiosity and wonder, even just for a little while, perhaps I won’t be so anxious all the time. Perhaps I’ll return to the world more calm and open, ready to notice the small things that usually go unnoticed everyday.

weird body perception
This type of meditation with eyes closed made me feel like my body shrank into such a skinny and very small form. I felt great and never experienced this kind of meditation where take another perception of your body. In this exact moment I felt that, I felt so chill and relaxed but at the same time scared due to my weird perception. I'll do it again!

Love the short 3 mins meditations I call them my brain breaks.
I’m taking more brain breaks without having to search for short meditations as I did on other apps
