As soon as I focus on breathing...
As soon as I turn my attention to my breathing, it immediately becomes effortful instead of unconscious. I simply cannot maintain normal breathing if I so much as notice anything about it. This means that the “Soothing rhythm of breathing” disappears as soon as I start the session!😠

This meditation really calms you and makes you realize to just focus on your breathing. When you focus on your breathing, your thoughts seem to melt away.

I felt more relaxed through not regulating my breath and allowing it to ‘just be’. I noticed my mind wandering and gently brought my attention back to the breath.

The natural flow of my breath
I learned that I struggled with the natural flow of my breathing for this particular meditation. I seem to resonate more with regulated breathing meditation where I am specifically breathing in and breathing out. I suppose it’s the need to always feel in control. Food for thought as I work on being present.

Soothing...
Jiva is right on! She got me into a nice rhythm, and with my phone on my chest while laying down, it started rocking back and forth with my in & out breathes. Kind of humorous but Very soothing after awhile. ❤️👃🍀

Nice & Easy
I do like the easy relaxing breathing meditations and I was drawn to this one after reading my friends, (Walter) reflection. I thought I would try something different by rotating my head from side-to-side, to give it a nice stretch. With each in-breath, I rotated my head to one side, then exhaled and made sure my body was completely relaxed before taking another deep in-breath and rotated it in the other direction. Seems like my neck and shoulders are always tight these days, this was a good short meditation to relax and rid my body of some tension.😴🧘‍♀️

Breathe is a nice thing to focus on when you need a break. It is something we don’t usually control but if we focus we can control it and it can be very relaxing.

I felt that I was much more calm after this meditation. I liked the background noise and focusing on my breath made it easier to relax.

Breathing …
What could be more natural than Breathing & Being? Both come natural in this session with Jiva. I Love how she directs us to just Be and allow the breath to happen. No thinking required. A sometimes tough thing to do, but she even takes that off the hook. Feeling very relaxed and time for sleep. Good nite all… 🌜😴🍀
