I often hold myself tense, whether it's due to anxiety, stress, or simply feeling uncomfortable and this meditation provided me with a reminder to soften and simply let go as I focus on my breath. To bring awareness to my body and allow it to go soft, to relax into just being and so find a soothing center. I shall be returning to this practice a lot more often! Thank You!

I'm going to be having lots of stress over the next 3 months but if I can realize that this too shall pass and that this temporary discomfort will pass and greater things are to come as a result I think I will be ok. Plus remembering that life is short and at the end of the day these things don't matter much in the grand scheme of things. Also I realize that I'm blessed to have such a wonderful supportive and encouraging network of friends and family. To know that I am loved will get me trough this time and my desire to not let them down.

I learned that this was a very accurate title. I breathe too slow and deep to keep in time with her at first but she soothed me into a softening sequence that had me melting into my seat! Glad I was in the car with my seatbelt on!! (I was parked and waiting for someone, in case you are wondering🙄) Felt terrific afterwards and never heard the ending music so not sure how long a was puddled up in there...

Miracle of life
Floating i look below me. Crystal clear water with stone stairs leading down to a cavernous space. Lights sparkle, I can’t tell if it is sunlight glinting on the water or individual lights moving under the surface. I realise that I don’t see my reflection, am i in the air or in the water and I am gazing up through it. I breath, slow and deep - it doesn’t matter ... I am suspended and unafraid. Supported and ready to explore.

I had anticipated this face to face meeting with apprehension since the initial phone conversation. She had sounded so dispassionate, so inflexible, so unwilling to listen to reason, refusing to take our extenuating circumstances into consideration. After hanging up, I analyzed my options. Then I took appropriate action to obtain the required documents as explicitly stated in the on-line form, even going above and beyond what the instructions indicated. Which was a very good thing. She was nothing like I had imagined. Just a decent person in a tough job. My heart went out to her when she told us about the cancer, which I had suspected when we first sat down. She had customized the necessary documents to include additional requirements, contradicting what was supposed to be a uniform, district-wide policy. But we had come prepared.

I’ve just had an awful financial experience while on vacation and my blood pressure was through the roof. To be honest, I was starting to fly off the handle ranting and directing my aggression towards friends via harsh and curt responses to their simple and well-intentioned queries. This meditation grounded my breathing which helped bring down my anger/stress levels and helped me let go of the tension that naturally directs itself to my upper back and shoulders when I’m aggravated. Granted, I honestly feel like I want to cry now, and I just may in order to release the stress. But, the feeling of wanting to cry out in frustration instead of raging in seething anger, is the more welcome emotion at the moment. It’s okay to cry out to avoid bottling these negative feelings and experiences within myself. It’s a bad moment right now. But this too, shall pass.

I noticed that when I’m stressed & trying to beat deadlines at work, I’m so wound up, even my muscles feel tight, especially at the neck and back. Taking a few minutes to breathe mindfully and soften myself is a helpful break from the tension. The work and the deadline are still there, but taking a breather helps me to focus more.

Stopping bad habits
I recognized that one of my bad habits was thinking negatively about what is about to happen in my life. I’m moving into my dorm room the day after tomorrow and I’m afraid. The idea feels very unfamiliar and unwelcome. But I know that while I’m really scared and anxious about moving, I know that by it being unfamiliar, it will also be exciting. To be honest, although it helped some, the things I feel are most worrying are still there in my mind and I don’t know how to be calm.

When you let go and close your eyes, you will slowly feel the softness that you feel around you : on the chair that you are sitting, on the table that you are leaning onto, on the water that you are drinking.... Feel the space around you... Let your worries be freed from you so that you won't feel crush even when you feel very anxious or stressed... You will certainly feel the difference when you keep guided meditations a simple habit everyday 😌🧘🏻‍♀️

Reigning my thoughts in is like herding cats
I discovered that it was very hard for me to focus on the meditation, likely due to anxiety over the coronavirus situation. I was so grateful for this break in my day though and just tried to bring my attention back to my breathing as often as needed, as well as just enjoying the soothing sounds even when I couldn’t concentrate on what the voice was saying. This app is amazing and I am super grateful for it right now in isolation especially.

I especially love it when she gets to the eyes. I never think about softening behind my eyes. It feels fantastic. And softening the top of my head. The tension drains away and creates an opening that allows divine energy to flow to me and through me - it is the best. 💖

The coach of this session is right people tend to take breathing for granted myself included. However, it really is a miracle that such a small automatic act keeps everything on earth alive . As though it’s your last !
Our bodies hold on to a lot of things that make us heavy! This is definitely a practice to use to lighten your load. It sounds morbid, but to exhale as if it’s your last and to just feel your body fully relax is so freeing of the things that make us heavy.
