I noticed I'm really tense, particularly late at night, and I think this session helped me relax. I also think that my breathing was very unsteady, since it was very late and I was having a bit of insomnia. The session helped me eventually slow my breathing and chill out.

I need eight hours of sleep. I only woke up once in the middle of the night which is an improvement.
Once in the middle of the night which is an improvement. My neck is stiff. I don’t like being asked to write more - I’m not a wordy person in the morning. This is all you get.

I eventually fell asleep towards the end of the track. Found it difficult to sleep next to Bill again. Will probably sleep in separate beds when we get back home.

My first time using Aura to help me sleep. Day 1 of 25 sleep program. I tried so hard to focus on not thinking about other things I thought about them more. Wasn’t asleep at the end. Will keep trying though.

Worrying thoughts
I noticed that it takes a little while for my worrying thoughts to calm down and that it takes more than the time of the guided meditations to get past them. Sudden urges to do other things that have themselves “gone to sleep” constantly arise. It’s going to take a bit for this practice to work.

Saturday Night, January 8, 2022, while listening to the exercise, my busy mind was able to settle don enough to get sleepy and fall asleep.
I learned that substituting something pleasant to interrupt my thought process allowed my body to relax and fall off to sleep. Looking forward to tonight’s session.
