The art of mindfulness is the ability to observe your thoughts without getting attached to them. In this meditation, you will visualize your mind as the sky on a clear, blue day. As thoughts come up, you'll watch them float by like clouds in your sky mind - without resisting them, without attaching to them, and without even thinking them. With each passing cloud, you will return your focus to that calm blue sky, allowing yourself to feel peaceful and calm before you step back into your day. www.christina-mcmahon.com

Blue Sky
My blue sky had thunderstorm thoughts. Lightening and loud thunder, but I let those pass by. I am more relaxed but still very anxious.

Chimney
The thought clouds were more like smoke from a industrial chimney fading away eventually, but they would keep churning out

Space
My mind is more expansive than I gave credit. I still have a lot on my mind and worry about not thinking about it, but I'm not sure how much longer I can go on worrying about everything.

Equilibrium
I learned that balance can be found in any moment by bringing one’s awareness back to their breathing or their mantra instead of being swayed by thoughts and emotions.

Just Be
I learned that I want to always remind myself to breath deeply and practice this breathing at least twice a day to enhance my mental capabilities.

Sky Mind
It is easier for me to imagine a beautiful blue sky than it is to imagine a bright white light which is so often used for guided imagery. What a relief!

Thought clouds
Skies and clouds makes for a lovely mental escape, beautiful in own right. It is nearly fun to transform errant thoughts into drifting clouds.

Clouds in my mind
Whenever my mind drifts away during meditations, I usually come back to the breath. In this meditation it was interesting to picture clouds dissolving in my mind to refocus my thoughts.

Clouds for my thoughts
Either there are too many or too few thoughts. Peaceful breathing helps me let the mind rest and focus.

Silent expansiveness of my mind
I am sad to say today that my mind had a lot of clouds and a few storm fronts on the edges. I know the subtext to this mindfulness session but I love a few puffy clouds scattered across the sky and even though it is the beginning of summer here we are too dry and need the rain. Hence why the storms I wish we had and the frantic ness of Christmas. A few moments in a deep indigo sky with the 1st shades of stars peeking through was more my style. The coolness of a hot day ending and a cool night to start, this is where my mind finished. ✨

Comes and Goes
The thoughts I have come and go - they pass like clouds in the sky. Tonight, my plane ride is turbulent as I disappear into the bruised clouds of my mind.

Sky mind
I really tried but, I failed tonight imagining my thoughts as clouds. My dog nervously pacing with the clicking of his nails totally distracted me. I will have to try again another night.

Learning not Doing
Blue sky - sunlight - warms - opens the heart and mind - clouds of thought cast brief shadows on the learning pouring in.

This was really cool. I have a bunch of projects I’m working on and this practice helped me focus on seeing which ones were most important to work on first. They came across as larger clouds. The brain is awesome.

Happy place
Tonight I watched This is Us, the fire started and it’s what caused the dad in story to die. It made me remember my dad and how I miss him and how I should be proud of what I have and done and don’t focus on the bad I’ve caused. I hope he can be proud of some of my things but I need to get help for my anger, rage, the monster inside of me.

Let the clouds take the tension away ☁️
I visualized the clouds in the sky as a big question mark. I enjoyed watching it drift away over the horizon and by the end of this session I felt a lot more calm. It’s Friday night and there’s a lot of tension in the air at work but I think I can get through it. Thanks 🙏 Aura
