i learned to be aware of all things around me, but not let these things stress me out or distract me or overwhelm me. just to simply be aware.

Do Not Get Caught Up
I don’t need to get so caught up in my physical sensations, thoughts, and feelings. After all, thoughts can only hurt me if I allow them to. Meaning, if I allow the thoughts to change my behavior. By taking the time to simply be, the rest of my day (and thoughts) will have a less interrupted flow.

I learned to let bad things go. Today I didn't get to be treasurer,my video didn't come through the email,or have my BFF vote for me. But they will just stay as bumps you can't find a way through.

This session was different than others I’ve done in that the point is simply to be aware. For me, I don’t have as hard of a time with that, but it was still a good reminder to pay attention to what’s going on around you without getting caught up in the noise.
