in a field of winter grass adorned with glistening crystals of frost the sun warmed the grey-haired dragons inhaling cold morning air breathing out steam they moved in slow motion arms up, across, around and back down again torsos turning in unison knees slightly bent Some wore mittens and puffy down coats others were bundled up in sweatpants and tasseled winter caps one sturdy gentleman wore track shorts white athletic socks up to his knees and a deep green hoodie a very petite lady sported powder blue thermal underwear and earmuffs “So many hours a day to the kingdom of the body and so many hours a day to the kingdom of the mind.” - T.R.

Really helps! Didn’t go down a dark hole!
I was really upset because I just received a rejection after an interview (and it seemed to go so well). I was trying so hard not to let my brain go down a dark hole and define myself as a failure because of the rejection. I was on the verge of just going to bed and crying. Then, I decided I would try writing thank you cards for our wedding gifts but I was too upset. I did this and now I’m able to focus and I don’t feel like crying right now.
