Rising Above
Being bogged down by circumstances, feelings, thoughts, sensations and even by the weather, we can feel as though we are going through life like a sponge, soaking up everything that is going on in our internal and external worlds. However, instead of getting bogged down by any one thing, we can rise above by shifting our perception about mood. As we realize the spaciousness around us, we rise above, feeling ourselves as the sky, unaffected by any storms that may be going on below. Getting comfortable, I began to get lost in my breath. Checking the weather report in my body and mind, I noticed that it was mostly calm skies. Then, I went back to my breath, noticing the space all around me. Visualizing myself in a sphere of spaciousness, I began floating in the sky. Rising above, I am unaffected by anything that is going on. I am protected by this sphere of spaciousness. Personally, I love this idea of feeling ourselves as the sky, as I have allowed many things to affect my mood. Being alert and aware, I can rise above the clouds in my internal and external worlds and always be the vast blue sky! Thank you, Cassandra! You are a genius! Namaste 🙏🏻❤️☮️

I loved this session!
I usually use a Muse device to meditate but of late it has been temperamental so decided to come to Aura for a meditation this morning! This session was beaut and it really helped me meditate from the word go and not have to calm or settle down to then start! Lovely words and a nice ambiance that really set out a great session! Thank you!
